sethdude (515), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Nov 22, 2006 Updated: Nov 26, 2006Tap: Pours copper with a smallish to medium head. Aroma of new fabric (think new shirt) sprinkled with cinnamon. Flavor is easy and smooth, caramel mats blend with rather bold clove and cinnamon, but balance prevails and the beer is quite quaffable. Needs more malt and more alcohol warmth to be a truly festive holiday beer. Update: According to the brewers, this is the dopplebock with holiday spices added.
