Cable (284), SE, Oklahoma, USA Dec 4, 2005 Updated: Apr 2, 2006Sampled on draft at the brewery and again in the 8th Anniversary bottle. Pours cloudy, dark red in color - much like a a raspberry. Frothy head and remarkable lacing. Aroma was like smelling a bowl of fresh raspberries with just a bit of the underlying wit’s spiciness noted. The flavor was enjoyable, but nearly all of the wit character had been dimished by the berries. Medium-bodied, balanced and easy to drink. Not quite the beer Schlafly Rasberry Wheat was, but still one of the better fruit beers that I’ve sampled.
