2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Draft. Rated from my notes from our 2001 Rt. 66 tour. They had a hefeweizen when we were there, so in comparison this was of course much lighter in aspect.
There were some other style on tap when we visited, but they're not isted on the brewer's web page, so I shouldn't be adding any beers that might not have been available for two years.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Average wheat. Faint to no aroma. Average light golden color. Wheat up front with a little bitterness but a slight buttery hint at the end. May have been pulled off the fermentation too soon.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled at Joplin Macadoodles Springfield Brewery tasting event, 1/9. Weakest of the six offerings of the brewery; watery and not a whole lot of flavor. Nothing overtly bad or dislikable about it, but just a rather generic and bland wheat.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Keg @ Springfield. Hazy light yellow with a tight eggshell white head. Pretty bready nose. Wonder Bread, slight herbal hop and white pear. Taste is pretty similar. Very bready, sort of heavy. Strong carbonation. Pretty flavorless, inoffensive. Meh.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Solid wheat beer; would taste good on a hot day. I'm not really a wheat beer drinker but I can say I've had a few better, a few worse, and a lot like this in the middle.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light and sessionable, though the overall flavor experience was subpar. Has a light grassyness that turns to stale hay at the end. Tried at the brewery in 2014.

12oz bottle 7/20/13 (Brown Derby-Springfield)-38° in Hurricane Glass-Pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, grass, and grains. Taste of wheat, banana, and grass. This light bodied brew is not bad and would be good on a hot summer day.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The aroma of this beer is of wheat and lemons, and the appearance combines a cloudy golden color and a large white head that fades to and stays at a medium size. The taste is mildly sweet and a touch sour, which isn’t too remarkable or distinguishable. Also, the palate fuses a lively carbonation, a medium body, a slick texture, and a long crisp finish. Overall, this meets the basics of a wheat beer without really showing why this one should be picked over other ones.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer is now named Walnut Street Wheat, and according to the bartender, is the exact same recipe as the Unfiltered Wheat. On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy golden yellow with white head. Wheat, yeast, and citrus flavors and aromas. One of the better American Wheat ales I’ve had in awhile.
