[Cask at the Back of Beyond, Reading] Pours Amber-red, no head. Sweet malt, lots of fruit (red apple?) with some earthy bitterness and a bit of pepper in the finish. Not bad, although possibly a tad on the sweet side.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber in colour with a thin, loose, off-white head; the aroma is malty and vaguely fruity; dry flavour with some fruity malts; leading to a dry finish with some slightly peppery hops. Not bad, but no sign of the cranberries.
