Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Pale gold with a dense white head. Aromas are light malts spicy, peppery hops. Flavours are citrus with light malts. Peppery, spicy and hoppy. Refreshing but light.

Cask, JDW, 4th April 2008. Yellow gold with no head. Strong ester pear-drop aroma. Very little flavour, maybe a little citrus and biscuity malt. Dry finish. Poor overall.

[cask at Back of Beyond, Reading] Light and refreshing, some "green"/ unripe flavour with a hint of apples. It’s a good session beer; the flavour is very reminiscent of Wadworth’s Horizon (which I drank in the same session) but whereas Horizon would be right for spring this makes me want to drink it on long sunny summer aftenoons!

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Pale straw with a trace of white head; floral hop aroma; rather thin with a sweet grainy taste; but a good bitter finish. Rather uninspiring.

Cask@The High Cross, Leicester. Golden beer with a standardly malty aroma and a plainly dry flavour with hints of yeast and malt. Overall a standard beer and poor overall.
