500ml Bottle. This pours a tightly laced medium head of medium duration: slightly off white over a light golden body. Its aroma is weak but of citrus fruits and honey with a slight malt biscuit undertone. It tastes malty with a medium blast of orange before edging towards a hoppy bitter finish but that is surpassed by a sweet honey end. A decent enough honey ale this - not sure its a blond in anything else but colour tho.

Bottle from Waitrose. Pours deep gold, hazy almost amber. medium to high carbonation. Aroma of toffee, caramel, honey, citrus and some nuttiness. Taste of initial toffee, caramel, toasted malts, then some honey sweetness, raisins and some nuttiness. Then come light hops with lemon and orange citrus flavours. Nice.

Pours golden with a little carbony fizz from the bottle. Grapefruit and citrus notes (lemongrass) on the palate, hints of nettle and grass with a dry but not cloying finish.

A wonderful full bodied, honey aroma, very easy drink and enjoy. Doesn’t drink as a 5.5%, the appearance is a wonderful warm and golden. One of my favorite drinks, doesn’t dry the mouth out

golden, clear, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, full body, oily feel, average carbonation, bitter, Hazy gold, thin white head and gentle condition. Slight apple tartness in the nose with some underlying chalky grain notes. Quite dry and chalky in the mouth, the grain more noticable but still some tangy apple flavours lurking. Harsh bitter yeastiness dominates the finish.
