Bottle from Un Dun’s unintentional aging cooler. Reddish copper with lasting flat head. Piney woody bready aroma. Medium fruity sweetness with some toasted caramel brown sugar nuttiness and medium piney bitter fairly clean finish. Full body. After my experience with an ancient bottle of Wnter Wheat that I bought during the same visit to Un Dun I was worried, but this is in decent shape, mildly aged. Overall, a great surprise. Very good.

Bottle shared by Bob - thanks!! Hazy dark amber pour with a tan head. Sweet malty caramel nose. Sweet taste, toffee and caramel with a touch of hops and a slight bitter finish. Nice, certainly on the sweet side.

Jesterdeal (1984) - Marlton, New Jersey, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Bottle shared by Bob and Jon. Aroma is iron, floral, and pine hop. Pours barleywine brown with a nice orange hue and very little head. Taste is great with a tangy orange peel, floral and pine and a great barleywine malt finish. Slightly intense bitterness which sets it appart. Would drink again.

Countbeer (4709) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - FEB 21, 2013
Bottle @ Kiss The Kitchen Floor or better known as ZZT VI (2013): Thanks to Radarsock for this bottle: Smaller sized creamy foamy head, changes into a thin lacing on top of a hazy darker amber orange colored beer with a ruby shine. Aromas of peach, cream, rose hip, roosvice, carbo gass and creamy malts. Flavours of peach, bitter, autumnal herbs, leaves, light spicy, yeast, creamy, some fruit. Aftertaste of bitters, malts, fruits and light spicy. Low carbo, soft creamy almost silky mouthfeel, full body and a full creamy light oily texture. Smooth Barley Wine.
