COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Original is a classic American hard cider. It’s made from three apple varieties rooted in American culture—Red Delicious, Yellow Delicious, and Johnny Gold—picked and pressed by hand in Oregon. A lager beer yeast was chosen to create a cider that perfectly balances sweet and tart with a light, crisp apple flavor and a clean, refreshing finish. The Original is best served over ice to complement the crisp apple flavor and clean, refreshing finish.

Bottle @ home. Clear, pale straw pour without any real foam. Smells of green apple candy, yeast, and pears. Corn syrup, some sugar, and light tartness. Flavor is a bit of lemon and lots of sugar. Corn syrup, sugar, and green apple candy. Light yeastiness. Meh.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold. Smells like mild apple skin. Med body or nearly. It’s sort of crisp/tart. Seems to start towards sweet, but never gets there. Finishes towards dry and tart.

Bottle. Pours with a pale yellow hued body with a quick to fade head. Aromas of sulfur, light ethyl acetate, vanilla, and mild phenolic rubber. Mostly sulfur, vanilla and apple-pear. Flavors are just off dry not offensive, mild sweet, floral pear and vanilla flavors. Soft acidity and tannin. Lively carb, medium low body.

Crisp and sweet. The alcohol content of 6.7 presents itself nicely and blends with the apple. Not too sweet... reading the ingredients theres no corn syrup (phew, thats a relief). I really like this cider and for the price you cannot beat it. Great cider from a great apple growing region...makes sense.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a effervescent bubbly body. A big sweet apple nose. The flavor is sweet apples, peel, vanilla, a bit of sugary notes. The flavor is almost a clear apple with very few major problems, maybe a bit bland. Good cider.

Light greenish gold, fresh apple nose, a little appley, touch thin but also effervescent, good flavour, mainstrean in style but well-executed.

I can honestly say, this is the very best Hard Cider I have ever tried. It tastes amazingly good. Perfect.

Clear pale yellow with no head. Aroma of apple juice and alcohol, no noticeable spices. Very tart and fairly sweet, no spice flavor either. The sourness reminds me of granny Smith apples but the flavor is a little different, perhaps because of the pear juice. Light bodied and weak carbonation.
