COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Original is a classic American hard cider. It’s made from three apple varieties rooted in American culture—Red Delicious, Yellow Delicious, and Johnny Gold—picked and pressed by hand in Oregon. A lager beer yeast was chosen to create a cider that perfectly balances sweet and tart with a light, crisp apple flavor and a clean, refreshing finish. The Original is best served over ice to complement the crisp apple flavor and clean, refreshing finish.

Aroma of standard carbonated apple juice. Light yellow pour. Extremely light and bright apples. Nothing bold

Bottle from Fred Meyer. Light golden in color. Looks to have very low carbonation. Nose is very light, but seems to have a hint of apple. Sweet, light apple flavor up front. Not a whole lot going on. Pretty average cider.

Bottle from BevMo in Escondido. Aroma of tart apples, nice deep gold pour. I found this to be very clean, refreshing and well balanced, one of the better ciders that I have had. Has a crisp, slightly carbonated, dry mouthfeel. Recommended.

22 oz bottlle purchased from Roths Vista Market in Salem $3.79 Very pale yellow colour with no head and no lace. Aromas of semi-sweet apples and maybe a little leaf/earth. Simple semi-sweet ..maybe Fuli or Pink lady apples..thats about it. Palate is fine for style sweet ending. Another clean boring US cider.

On tap at Hangar on the wharf. I had a little water to clean my palate of the previous beers. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a pure clear yellow color with a big transparency to it. Light streams of bubbles arise. There was barely any head (but it’s a cider, no worries). The smell was a slight tart to sweet Granny Smith apple with a slight nice grassy bitter lemon coming through as it warmed. The taste was mainly sweet with a nice thorough tart and yet mildly acceptable sour lemon to balance the apple. There’s a slight vinous aftertaste with a mild dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a proper carbonation for a cider = harsh but not overbearing. Overall, a cider I could do again...hmm, maybe.

a good cider, on all points .. . deep yellow .. mild spots of foam .. . apple juice, light red skin, and braisins .. . medium feel and a touch sweet on the end .. . solid cider son .. . . everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time.

Crisp and sweet. The alcohol content of 6.7 presents itself nicely and blends with the apple. Not too sweet... reading the ingredients theres no corn syrup (phew, thats a relief). I really like this cider and for the price you cannot beat it. Great cider from a great apple growing region...makes sense.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a effervescent bubbly body. A big sweet apple nose. The flavor is sweet apples, peel, vanilla, a bit of sugary notes. The flavor is almost a clear apple with very few major problems, maybe a bit bland. Good cider.

Light greenish gold, fresh apple nose, a little appley, touch thin but also effervescent, good flavour, mainstrean in style but well-executed.
