sneagrams3 (1367), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Oct 16, 2006 On draft from the brew pub. Filtered with an amber hue. Off-white head. Mild malt nose. Sweet and medium bodied. Smooth with a generous hop finish. Tasted like Cascade? Sweet light roasted malt notes, then a bitter and dry finish. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates May 13, 2006 Draft pint at the brewpub, 5/12/06: Reddish-amber; smooth and malty with a sweet twist to it. Very good amber lager and a good tribute to Anchor Steam. Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA May 11, 2006 tap at brewpub-beer pours orange with a very small white head. earthy./spicy nose with toasted grain husks and some twangy caramel malt accents. flavors pretty much match the nose-lots of malt sweetness followed by a lightly piney hop finish. fairly clean ferment for the brewer (some wierd things go on in some of the beers here). not bad. vyvvy (1607), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Apr 15, 2006 Nice clear brown color with very little head - little carbonation. Aroma has light graininess and mildly spicy hops. The beer tastes a bit flat. It has some caramel malt mixed with sourness and the finish is piney hops with lingering sourness. An okay beer, but I don’t think I’ll have another.
