esjaygee (808), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA May 28, 2008 Draught at Square One brewpub. Deep amber with a thin white head. Aroma of light sweet hops. Taste of sweet malt and light citrus hops with a long bitter finish. The hops seemed mildly burnt. Probably my least favorite beer from my eight sampler, but still not a bad effort. rederic (1444), montréal, Quebec, Canada Apr 23, 2008 On tap at the brewery, copper color, with a white head, grainy, toasty, caramel, floral hop nose, of nice leafy, grassy, cedary accents, with a resiny note of pineniddle in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a toasty, toffee , flowery hop leafy character, with some juicy, grassy, minty notes, with a lime, citrusy fruitiness, leading towards a well hoppy bitterness finish. Ughsmash (3071), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Aug 30, 2007 On tap at Square One. Poured clear deeper coppery-amber with a well-retained cap of off-white head. The aroma was just lovely!.. sweet caramel and pine resin accented by toasty floral notes that built with warmth.. quite enticing. Sweet (but not overly) in the flavor department with caramel and English toffee represented.. moderate, well-placed dry floral and citrus bitterness surrounding.. well-balanced. Creamy carbonation across the middle of the palate with increasing bitterness going outward.. dry, refreshing finish. Solid brew!
