3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle… Pours as black as a Cigar City imperial stout with a small, creamy, beige head. Great retention. The aroma furnishes deep, rich notes of licorice, blackstrap molasses, fudge and pouch tobacco. Nearly full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. The flavor is bitter and burnt – lots of charcoal and ash. Finishes up much the same – burnt, bitter and ashy. Bottle courtesy of newcigarz!

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
750ml bottle (Snow@ChrisO)
Christ this is hot! Pure booze coming off the glass. Looked great, but the wanky "Borat"-style label (and the fact that the aroma has already pissed me off) means I just don’t want to give it a 5. Taste has the predictable hot alcohol burn that dominates everything. Shit.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle in KC @ JetsonFest III. Thanks jcnielsen / Justin! Pours a black appearance with a dark brown head. Sort of floral/soapy, dark chocolate, anise, somewhat roasty aroma. A bit tingy, somewhat boozy, chocolate, straw/chewy herbal, potpourri, whiskey flavor with quite a bit of booze on the finish. Not as good as I was hoping for.
