This is one of the best ambers I've had funny they call it high gravity. Nice hop aroma. Balanced very enjoyable wish I could get that low gravity brew at home.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 hayduke (2938) - Eureka, California, USA - FEB 28, 2013
This was shared with Stykzone via a joint tasting. We of course each had our own twelve ounce bottle as we were 1,500 miles apart. Good old Facebook Chat. This brew poured a dark amber with a big beige head and lots of good lacing. Nose of roasted malts with some nuts. Medium in body with a rich creamy mouthfeel. The flavor is rich and shows some funk and the finish is malty but there is some bitterness. Nice drinking and quite enjoyable. As Faxebook says...LIKE:

Twelve ounce bottle from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. This pours dark copper with a nice thick beige head that never fully subsides. This beer offers rich malts and some funky earthiness. A bit of vanilla and brown sugar. Nuts, too. This is really rich, sweet, and malty. Not bad.

This one poured a darker amber color with a biege head. Aroma was of earthy and dusty hops, and caramel and toasted malt. Flavor was malt forward, with just enough hop bitterness to keep it balanced. Meh.
