Like summer in a bottle, Bumper Crop starts with the gentle aromas of freshly gathered lavender and features local honey for a soft, slightly sweet finish. At 5.5% ALC/VOL, it simply tastes bee-yootiful.

Nice looking beer. Actually smells lightly of lavender and honey. Amazingly not false advertising. Taste is spot on to the description. Smooth, lightly sweet honey flavor, but balanced by the hops just enough and the lavender definitely is noticeable and gives it a light freshness. Unique, and it really works. First beer Iíve had that I can remember with lavender and itís pretty good. Jenna actually liked it!

Sampled @ ChrisO after GBBF day 2. Hazy pale golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, herbs and spices, slightly honey indeed, a hint of sweet-bitter. Average to medium body and carbonation.

pours hazy goldenrod with a lasting white head and a few spots of lacing. Oranges, honey and grain dominate the aroma. taste has notes of grapefruit, apricot, unripe peaches, grass and cereal. finish is muted with hints of citrus and grain lingering. Not an unpleasant beer but not an interesting one either.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is herbal and veggies. Fruity. Bitter and slight herbal. Dry bitter and slight herbal into a dry finish.

Bottle. Golden pour with a finger of creamy white head. Nose is lavender... very bright and aromatic. Taste Iíd mostly lavender with a faint sweetness from the honey. Good use of the lavender I think. One serving is enough though.

Deep gold, mostly clear, off-white head. Grainy malt with a touch of caramel, pronounced lavender.floral notes. Interesting beer.

Pint at squatters grill. Pours golden with a half inch of white foam. Not much on the nose. Nice lavender on the tongue with a touch of slickness on the mouthfeel. Finishes clean. Nice beer for the harvest.

Not sure if this really reminds me of a farmers marked but you really can see the lavender. Very light. I like it. Iím not sure if I like the hefeweizen or this the most. Both are great. This makes me think of summer but doesnít irritate me like some other summer season beers.

Floral, lightly sweet aroma. Light malt flavor: sweet, a little bready and light caramel in aftertaste. Lavender flavor is substantial, but not too much.

750mL thanks to douglas88. It pours out a nice clear deep gold body of brew that supports an off white head. The aroma is bruising with big floral lavender notes with some mild honey sweetness around the edges. Iím not a big fan of big floral brews so the aroma got my expectations low prior to the first sip. The taste has pleasing balance between big flowery lavender and carbonation enhanced spicy hops, yeasty spices and then flowing into sweet honey notes. It ends pretty neutral and a touch dry. The more I drink and get into this beer the more I like it and the aroma seems more inviting as it warms. Solid stuff, well done.
