On nitro, I can tolerate the beer...but it really doesn’t carry much taste at all.

Pours brown, with some red tones, and a light brown head. Distinct "oats" in the aroma, which had me excited about this beer. Taste was coffee, with some light citrus notes. Finishes with more coffee and toast. Dry. Some lingering citrus as well. Where’d the hell those oats from the aroma go??? There’s more power to the aroma than the taste or finish, which is like an empty promise with this beer.

this is a very drinkable stout that I tried of the 4% ABV variety. Good taste, with lots of coffee and burnt carmelization. It would be an OK session beer. Don’t get me wrong, this is nowhere close to a real stout, but decent.

This pretty much smells like coffee for some reason. Looks good. Taste is a little dry in the finish and seems to carry some coffee flavor throughout. Managed to make it taste a little heavy despite only being four percent. An okay oatmeal stout.

On tap at the SLC airport. Poured a deep mahogany with a short cap of beige head. Nose was of dark and milk chocolates, coffee, and herbs... a tad subdued. Silky smooth on the palate with flavors of oatmeal, dark and milk chocolates, and moderate herbal bitterness. Nothing special, but certainly respectable.

Tap at SLC Airport Brewpub: Black color with a tan ring head. Coffee and dark chocolate aromas. It has an enjoyable rich coffee flavor mainly with a thin feel. It isn’t as slick as some oatmeal stouts. Pretty good. I disagree with Pink_Flamingo’s assessment, it was much better than a 0.6!!!

By far the worst oatmeal stout that I have ever drank. Damn is was nasty, weak, and had a funky aftertaste.

Very smooth taste. II drank a pint of this without a buzz at the Squatters Airport pub in Salt lake. Beautiful dark chocolate color. This was on draft.

On Tap: mild roasted oatmeal nose; modest body for an oatmeal stout; burnt chocolate flavor with a dry, slightly astringent finish; rather bland and not overly smooth for the style.

I gulped down this rating after discovering that Squatters has a restaraunt in the SLC airport just 15 minutes before my plane borded. Nearly black in color with a thin tan head. Roasty, grainy aroma. Medium bodied. Bitter roasted barley dominates the flavor. Pretty run of the mill stout.
