12 ounce bottle. Thanks Dallas! Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and coffee. Taste is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, and caramel. Just a small touch of hops. On the thin side. Pretty good.

Bottle. Dark walnut brown, creamy tan head. Aroma is sweet and roasty, not truly chocolatey but hey. Flavour is sweet and reminiscent of Tootsie Rolls a little, but not that over-the-top. Roasty dryness in the finish. Medium bodied.

Not impressed thin as the 4 %. Polygamy porter taste about the same as two percent higher. So not impressed what's done here a bit darker but nothing impressive. Don't get this.

From a bottle, clear and dark ruby appearence, candy tootiepop flavor, brown head, light body, and I would have stay its a really plesant oatmeal stout.

Dark beer with a thin galaxy of ivory bubbles on the in surface. Nose with some sweet molasses and roasted grains. Thin mouthfeel which I’m getting used to for these 4% Utah beers. Roasted grains, burnt toast, bitter chocolate and some grass in the finish. The flavor that is there is tastey but this beer is just limited by the Utah laws...
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 mapleleafbrews (2) - - SEP 24, 2012 does not count
Pours dark brown with a thin, dissipating, tan head. Strong barnyard funk and basement aromas with weak coffee and roasted nut aromas floating about. Tastes like toasted sour dough bread dipped in coffee. Rather thin and metallic mouth feel for an oatmeal stout. In short, a strange, unbalanced brew that really doesn’t represent the style.

Bottle from Total Wine & More in Henderson, NV. Deep dark brown pour with a small spotty head. Ashy, sweet chocolate, some roast, but maybe a touch thin in the palate. Pretty solid though.
