COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A best-of-breed English Style Summer Ale, this tail-wagger’s already fetched a real name for itself in competition. Our premium barley rolls over with domestic and imported Golding hops for a delicate bitterness and cold, wet nose.

Pours an orange-gold in color with a thin white head that dissolved to a stringy scuzz. Nose is mild and I am getting a straw-like aroma more than anything else. Really enjoying this beer. Lots of sweet malts on the tip of the tongue that only get sweeter towar the back of the palate. A light, refreshing hoppiness that I almost miss. Even picking out some light, subtle fruits such as apples and peaches. Light mouthfeel that is quite refreshing. This would make a nice lawnmower beer.

Can from BevMo, La Mesa. Pours a fairly dark golden color. Aroma is a little sour. Strong English hoppy scent. Very mild. Somewhat bland with a little bit of a mango type of flavor. Good light summer sipper.

12 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquor - Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a half finger thick white head. Very thin spotty lacing. Has a sweet toasted honey and herbal hop aroma. Flavor is light grain and esters. Light to medium body. Nothing great, but easy to drink. Worth a try.

12 oz. bottle, courtesy of DarkElf - thanks! Pours hazy golden with a moderate white head that diminishes rapidly. Toasty malts, hints of honey and clover with light fruit and cookie dough, herbs and flowers. Light toasty malt flavors, hers and summer fruit, abundant floral hops, though overall a little watery. Light to medium body, perky carbonation.

After five not too offensive but totally unimpressive beers I have lost track of any other way to say "it’s okay". I am now kissing the rug beneath me and actually incredible grateful for living in Texas. Despite these beers being okay, I would blow my brains out if these were the sum total of what could be found. There’s enough flavor in each to keep me hoping for more, that maybe if I squeeze the bottle in my hands like Superman that it would miraculously condense all and come out with more. Cleanliness is not always so close to godliness.

This beer came in a cool can. It had an aroma of grass and a little bit of lemon, accompanied by some aluminum, presumably because it came from a can. The flavor was mildly grassy on the front end, with a moderate sweetness, followed by a nice crisp and bitey ending. It was relatively light, and very easy to pound. It was a nice flavorful unique blonde ale.

A serviceable Utah ale. Interesting honey notes offset an odd bitterness. In the future, I’ll stick to Provo girl.
