Taste: Citrus & spicy hops with a nice malt backbone.

On tap at the brewpub, there is a good chance that this is a completely new beer, I can’t say for sure, but I’ll rate it here until I know otherwise. Listed as Utah Crimson Ale: ESB. Pours a cloudy bronze color with a large white head. A hoppy aroma; sweet citrus and toasted malts. The flavor was great; dominated by loads of hops, citrus and light pine, a toasted malt background. Sort of like a uber-hopped ESB. Great. Easy to drink.

nitro version. dark golden color. smooth taste but finishes watery with a faint hoppiness

Nitro version, tasted in Brewpub.Medium brown color, creamy medium head. A medium bodied ESB. Nice malts and fairly hoppy. Malts are slightly caramelized and very slightly sweet. Good flavor. Very smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
