3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nitro version on tap at Squatters in SLC airport. Hazy deep dark golden with huge white creamy head and excellent lacing. Aroma is mainly citrus and toast with floral and pine notes. Taste is good balance as the bitterness is quite palatable with a hint of sweetness from caramel malt and lemon zest. Best beer I’ve had in an airport.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewpub, there is a good chance that this is a completely new beer, I can’t say for sure, but I’ll rate it here until I know otherwise. Listed as Utah Crimson Ale: ESB. Pours a cloudy bronze color with a large white head. A hoppy aroma; sweet citrus and toasted malts. The flavor was great; dominated by loads of hops, citrus and light pine, a toasted malt background. Sort of like a uber-hopped ESB. Great. Easy to drink.
