COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This rich, Northwest-style Pale Ale is a rare feat of balance: unfiltered, dry-hopped to 40 IBUs, and deliciously sessionable. Groove on this two-time Great American Beer Festival® Gold Medal winner (2001 and 2002 Bitter Category). It really smoothes out the bumps.

Pours hazy gold with a thin white head. Citrus and unusual floral aroma -- not exactly potpourri but kind of heading that way. Taste is grapefruit bitter with a little pine.

Draft Flight 9/02 (Brewpub-SLC)-Pours an amberish orange. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste of the same with some citrus coming in. This medium bodied brew was a decent little pale ale.

Grapefruit greets the nose. A hazy golden amber pour with a dense half inch tan head which quickly fades. Nice ringed lacing present. Slight citrus taste up front with a large dose of bread in the middle. This followed by a hoppy bitter finish with a linging bready aftertaste. Medium-light body with medium carbonatin. Overall, drinkable enough to finish the six pack, but I’ll probably suspend my purchases of Full Suspension.

12oz botle thanks to Jake65. Pours a lightly hazy orange with some lacing, creamy white head. Nose has orange, malt, honey, lightly floral, a little soap. Flavor is soapier, a little cheesy, orange, malt, some dough. Lightly bitter finish. Decent enough.

Can. Pours dark gold with a high, creamy, large-grained white head. Nose is grapefruit, tangerine, and rosemary. Clean on the tongue, a little neutral, without as much hops punch as I expected; carbonation is more like an English mild. There’s just not as much to this as the nose promised. Finishes green and a little cloudy. I’ve had better.

Hazy golden with a thin white head. The aroma smells like white flowers, a bit of pollen, and grandmas house. The taste is nice and smooth and crisp with a hoppy leafy flavor, light-medium bitterness with a bit of floral tones, and a clean pale malt sweetness to back it up.

Bottle. Slightly cloudy light orange pour with a white head. Citrus and dusty caramel malt aroma. Lighter palate with moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Pours a very hazy golden color with plenty of floaties all floatin’ about. The head is nice, sort of small and well retained... and leaves a good lacing on the glass.

Aroma is hoppy, with bottle from box aromas. Some orange & some citrus offered, some floral notes are chill... not sure what that purfumey character is, but I could sorta live without it when everything else going is is pretty nice. It’s got a little bit of toasty malt in the aroma as well, which is also cool stuff.

The flavor is bright and fruity with some toasty malt... the bitterness level is sort of at a medium place for a beer like this, and that fit’s it pretty well. Everything is nicely balanced, the hop flavors is really pretty well expressed and there is not a lot of sweetness offered.

Pretty solid low booster shelf beer bros!
