Thanks turd for sharing. Pours a cloudy gold with orange hues and a 1-2 finger white head. The nose shows some citrus rind character, esters, very mild aroma, peach? Flavor shows some isoamyl acetate, spicy, mild yeast presence. Lacks prominent and distinguishable flavor and aroma.

750ml bottle - hand bottled, purchased from the new bottling line store. Pours a hazy straw yellow color with medium sized fluffy pure white head. Aroma has fruity esters, including pear and pineapple, as well as light honey, prickly pear cactus fruit. Flavor has bright carbonation, light notes of honey, apples, touch of bananna and pineapple. An occasional metallic note comes across. Palate is a bit watery. Finish is balanced. Overall this is just alright - a good brew, but a bit too estery for the style and doesn’t really have the Duvel-like notes I would expect, and the palate is a bit watery.

750 ml bottle shared during a layover in Salt Lake. Clove and banana on the nose with spicy belgain yeast esters. Pours cloudy golden blonde with a thick white head. Crisp beglian blonde, light fruits with spicy clove and grains of paradise, light on the palate. Not bad but lacks some depth.

750ml. Light gold body with a nice white foamy head. Aroma of spice, especially clove, fruit, toasted grain and mustiness. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture and extra lively carbonation. In fact, this beer is so overly carbonated that it’s hard to get any flavor from it. That’s ashame since this seems, at least in aroma, to have nice strong Belgian ale qualities. In fact, if you swirl away some of the carbonation, you get tastes of spice, pear and basement.

Black waxed topped 750ml, generously gifted to me by Eric, footbalm himself. Pours a nice cloudy orange with a big white foamy head. Nose is sweet and spicy with a touch of citrus. Taste is sweet, light, with a very nice bubbly mouthfeel. I concur with mikey there is clearly a dry champagne feel to this beer, and I like it. Solid Utah brew!

Poured into a tulip: a lightly hazy honey/orange with a dense 3 fingers of white foam, which fade into a moderate sized cap. The nose is lemony coupled with dusty-oak and a wild yeastiness. The taste starts with dry apricot and pear followed by spicy malty grains. The end is lemony with notes of straw and wheat. The finish is nice and dry with a lite champagne like carbonation. This beer is very crisp and refreshing. Just so easy going down and incredibly light on the palate. The the 7.75% ABV doesn’t have any burn and is well hidden.

Wow, I’m the first to rate this excellent beer. It is available in 750 ml bottles at the brewpub, about 1,000 bottles made, so it should be around for awhile. 7.75% alcohol. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is sweet; lots of yeast, light fruit, apples and some malty zest. The flavor is smooth and nice; lots of yeast, gentle fruit aspects, apple and perhaps peach, a bubbly mouthfeel. Very nice and a great example of the style. Jenny and Squatters keep making excellent beers, thanks!
