A hazed blonde ale with a thin white head. In aroma, smooth fruity malt with light coriander and orange peels. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with coriander, orange peels, alcohol warmth, perfumey, very nice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
25 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, very well retained white head, with extensive lacing, over a hazy, gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is light malts, with pear, hints of apple, hints of pepper....taste is slight sweet to start, then light pear, slight lemon, leading to a moderately dry spice finish.....mouth feel light of medium, alcohol hidden, carbonation adds clean acid. This is a very nice version of a Belgian Golden Strong. It has the huge, well retained head, with appropriate lacing, a flaw is the clarity. Aromas and flavors are both appropriate as is the mouth feel. BJCO 8/2/16/4/8

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 oz bottle from brewpub in SLC. Date was half worn off, either 4.5 months or 0.5 months old.
Aroma: very mild standard strong Belgian ale smell, slightly yeasty.
Appearance: golden color with medium lacing.
Taste: good representation of a strong Belgian if a little mild. More breast than fruity.
Mouthfeel: heavy carbonation, but not sharp. Light bodied.
Overall: solid Belgian, good stylistically, fantastic for SLC.

Fizzy head...looks like a peachy amber cloud. Very subtle aroma...a confusing blend of citrus and fruit...carbonation is on the high side...I like this beer but for some reason cannot relate to the name...I think the devil would enjoy a more pungent beer...less delicate...one might expect to find this one in his gardener's stash.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Yellow-orange with a large white head. The aroma has a bit of citrus in it, as well as some biscuit malt and Belgian yeast. The flavor is very similar. I get a lot of biscuit malt and yeast, as well as some orange citrus and candy sugar. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. The alcohol is definitely present in this one.

Aroma is citrusy. Pours a clear golden color with a rapidly diminishing white head and average lacing. Taste is slightly sweet. Belgium yeast, hints of corrander and hints of citrus. Light body with soft carbonation. Overall, an enjoyable American version of a Belgian ale.
