Thanks Seth for this beer. Pours a golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is a little sweet with alcohol fairly present and some caramel and pine. Similar hop flavour with sweet caramel, pine, grapefruit and a long alcohol hum.

Rusty colored, hoppy citrusy aroma........flavorful with hints of grapefruit, nice
sharp bite on the palate, bitter but not astringent, a great Double IPA, very drinkable with a medium to long lasting finish. Back to SLC for me !

Very solid IPA. Has a sweet malt taste with plenty of hop flavor, and a very nice bitter finish. Refreshing and tasty brew.

Bottled on date: 10/20/11. Pours a nice amber color, with a light tan colored head that produces some nice sticky lacing. Aroma is very malt forward, which I tend to prefer for Imperials. There’s some resinous pine and a hint of alcohol on the nose as well. Pleasant, but nicely intense bitterness attacks the front of the tongue, while soothing caramal, nutty, sweet malts finish the taste. There’s definite heat here...doesn’t hinder the experience. Nice full body, very slick and oily. This is a nice IIPA, I can’t always find it fresh, but when I do, I can’t help but pick up a six pack.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Another beer out of Utah. What is going on up there? This double – 9% alcohol – is daunting for a lunch. But it was refreshing and IPA fnas should find/try it. The draft poured a clear amber. Plenty of citrus and pine. Lovely head and nice lace. It’s a pretty darn good DIPA.

Amber pour with a grapefruit, pine, bread and earth aroma. A big citrus and floral hop / pine taste with a blend of earth.
A nicely blended brew.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amber. Not much head. Sort of a dull hop aroma - there’s lots in there, but they’re dull. Earthy, but the bitterness is low for the style. The malts, which are slightly caramelly and a little bit earthy, don’t mix well with the hop character... not something I’d get excited about.
