3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A-pours a slightly hazed darker amber color with a thin bit of dirty off white head leaving a thin lace.
S-the nose is potent, an earty grainy aroma up front, subtle hay-like herbal hops with notes of fresh oranges in the back.
T-this has more balance with a stronger malt presence, toasted caramel and slightly earthy, notes of sticky pine, hints of herbal hops with a light citrusy orange taste in the back with a lingering bitterness.
M-fuller body, syrupy and slightly grainy on the back of the tongue, quite chewy with an assertive carbonation and crisp biting finish.
D-reasonably balanced with a nicely hoppy finish. the alcohol is pretty well hidden barely showing through in the back. the feel is aggresive and a little rough but still decent.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Decent double IPA, but nothing, to me, that distinguishes it from some of the others of this ilk. Poured with a nice, foamy, frothy, off white head that mostly settles down and lots of lace. Color is a clear dark brass with some small bubble trails. Aroma is malt, caramel, toffee, a little bread dough and grass, and of course hop with grapefruit if the fore. Flavor is very similar to nose. Mouth is full, and round, with some sharp points from the heavy hopping rates. Finish is like flavor and there the alcohol shows up, but not in a way that is too out of proportion. Not bad, not great.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I had this one at kickoff of the Super Bowl. I was very impressed with this one. Most of the Squatters brews I’ve had were mediocre so I wasn’t expecting much. Nice dark amber with a long lasting off white head. Very hoppy aroma and taste. I’m impressed.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very nice as a pale ale. Neutral aroma, medium golden colour with one and a quarter inch head, lacey. A good bitterness, big in-mouth hops, like a double pale ale. Well malted. Caramel and a decent mouthfeel. Very drinkable.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden orange pour with a foamy head. Aroma of sweet malt and spicy and citrus hops. Flavor is not overly hoppy, but nicely balanced. I dig the label! Pretty good stuff!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. Pours copper with a white head. Lots of hops in the nose, resin, and a touch of citrus. The higher alcohol % is noticeable in the nose. Tastes of alcohol, fruity, resiny, piney, touch of citrus, minimal malts that are caramel and toasty. A nice, and readily available IIPA.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. The aroma is not as potent as other Double IPA’s, although there is a nice hint of hops that comes through. Appearance is a clear golden color and was poured with a nice lingering frothy white head. The taste is medium sweet with a bitter, salty aftertaste. The palate has a light body with a lively carbonation with a long finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, pours golden with foamy white head. Nose has some sweet honeydew, pinnapple, and grass. Flavors are sweet caramel, melon, pear. orange peel zest. This is really an uninspired very average beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Poured translucent medium orange with a towering cap of sticky white head. The aroma picked up fresh grass and piney hoppage over a soft pale and honey base.. straightforward and well presented. The flavor found lighter fruits and honey at the core, with a sharp, and not always enjoyable blend of assertive grassy, floral, and peppery bitterness around.. alcohol amplified and was a little raw at the end.. not as clean as the nose. Medium-bodied and a touch thick on the palate.. some very good components in here, but it didn’t come together all that well.
