3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
More on the malty than the hoppy end but easy to like. Resinous hop aroma but it doesn’t carry over in the flavor.

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2013 On tap at Angel’s Trumpet Ale House, San Diego; served in a tulip glass. Great lacing, decent hoppy aroma. Flavor is hop forward, of course, with a dry finish. Very drinkable, however. Creamy on the palate.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle in Baton Rouge. Pours an amber color with a medium sized foamy white head. The aroma was sweet malts, dank hops, citrus, light resin and some oxidation. The flavor was more malt forward, caramel, citrus, resin, and oxidation. Medium plus body, not as hoppy as I’d like. I’m not sure how fresh this was.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Heavy piney citrus hop aroma. Caramel butterscotch notes. Sweet malt with a heavier body outweighs the hops for an impy.almost under attenuated. Is not exactly to style as its way too malt forward but still good

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours orangeish-copper, with a mid-sized head. Strong floral hop aroma. Lots of malt in the flavor, coupled with citrus and pine bite. Nice clean finish to the beer. This is not bad!

Bomber from France 44. Lustrous orange pour with a fat, foamy head. Inviting enough, and there’s some serious resinous punch in the nose. But while I enjoyed the luxuriant mouthfeel and the sweetly floral flavors (surprised it wasn’t more dry and bitter, given the aroma), I found it a bit heavy and excessively malt-forward in places. Average.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle,bought as a single from "Lifesource",Salem. $1.79
Pours typical IPAesque..burnt orange with a large white head.
Aroma, floral, piney hops balanced by creamy caramel malts.
Taste again rather balanced between the caramel malts and floral hop..kinda too sweet though and has harsh alcohol notes showing.
Palate was average
NOt great too sweet and alcohol too harsh

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Squatters Hop Rising Double IPA has a thin, cream-colored head and a hazy, orange appearance, with some streaming bubbles and a lot of lacing left behind. The aroma is of sweet, bready malt and other sweetness. Taste is very hoppy, bready, and sweet. But, it’s not really any different than their regular IPA. Mouthfeel is medium, and the finish is mostly dry and easy drinking. I recommend it. RJT

Had on draft at "the pub" in Las Vegas. Great lacing in the glass....aroma is the best part of this brew. Overall great....leaves just a bit to want on the overall taste...but would certainly get again
