Ungstrup (29332) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 13, 2011
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit, alcohol, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and alcohol, leading to dry and bitter finish.

esjaygee (3903) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Slightly hazed amber with a thick rocky taupe topper that leaves thick lacing. Aroma of deep floral hops, pale and bready malt, some toasted malt, biscuit and grains. Taste is more in the citrus and resinous ballpark with dough, middle of the road sweet malt, grapefruit, floral hops, and a touch of tropical fruit and alcohol. High bitterness that lasts for awhile.

5000 (6300) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 6, 2011
Bottle:   Orangish straw, a bit cloudy, large frothy off-white head, nice lacing.   Soft citrusy nose, a little resin and orange peel zest.   Malty tongue, caramel notes.   Soft bitterness follows.   Not a hop bomb by any means, and in fact a nice malty example of a big IPA.   The 9% ABV is well hidden.   Feels a little musty, not too bright or fresh.   Clean finish, but its a bit musty.   Certainly a malty example of an IIPA, which I enjoy, but its not too bright or fresh.   Thanks to pailhead for the bottle!

illinismitty (2270) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 4, 2011
Bottle.Pours amber with an off white head. Nice floral and fruity aroma. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Caramel and honey malt flavors, with a the grapefruit, pine, and lemon hoppiness. Dry, bitter, and earthy finish. Alcohol well hidden. Not bad. I would not seek out again, but would certainly drink it again if offered.

DalzAle (1984) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - OCT 2, 2011
Bottle. Clear orange pour, light lacing and an earthy orange hop aroma. Flavor has a nice solid malt base, astringent strong hops, bitter grapefruit and finished hoppy and a little warming. Decent for being 2+ months old, and at $10 a six pack.

50belair (2240) - Florida, USA - SEP 30, 2011
Bottle at the Flying Saucer. Golden pour with a white head. Tropical fruit aromas. Surprisingly good. Very well balanced with luscious tropical fruit and citrusy hops whose bitterness is offset by a sturdy caramel malt backbone. Kudos to the kids from Utah....
