Bottle: Orangish pour with a thick off white head. aroma is caramel and piney hop. some pineapple/tropical fruit as well. Flavour is more of the same, caramel sweetness to the front backed by tropical/resinous hop presence. Light burnt sugar tones. Alc is blended well. Not too sweet, not too bitter.

Tap @ Fifteenth Ave. Hophouse... Poured reddish/amber with a grayish head. Nose was resinous with big time hops. Loads of noticeable hop flavors, but not too bitter. Citrus, pine, woodsy, and a bit dry towards the end. Some malt flavor crept in for balance too.

Incredibly clear, light orange color. Nice lacing. Nose of bitter, yet sweet hops. Citrus, tropical fruits, candy sweetness. Alcohol hidden very well! This is one of my go-to IIPA’s, esp for the price- love it!

Pours a beautiful amber with good clarity and a nice full head. Plenty of lacing down the glass as I drink it. Great citrusy aroma and tastes just like a higher alcohol west coast IPA should. Nice bitter finish and yeah, you can tell the alcohol is there, but definitely in a good way. This double IPA really surprised me, especially since I only paid $8 for a sixer. Really, really nice example of this style. Gonna stock up on this one.

Pours an orange color with a large creamy off white head. Nose is woodsy, herbal, sweat, sunflower seeds, and caramel. Creamy mouthfeel. Not bad.

mcberko (9200) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 21, 2012
12 oz. bottle, pours a clear golden orange with a creamy white head. Pine trees on the nose, with peaches and sweet malts to back. Flavour of piney hops, grapefruits and other more subtle tropical fruits, and earthy caramel malts - bitter dry piney hops on the finish. Quite solid though nothing distinguishable about this that makes it a standout.

mile (3394) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 20, 2012
Bottle. Light amber, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, caramel, some tropical fruitiness, some piney and grapefruit hoppyness, light alcohol. Body is medium, malty and sweetish flavor, caramel, some tropical fruitiness and grapefruit hoppyness, light alcohol. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some caramel and light fruitiness, some piney - grapefruit hoppyness and some alcohol. Caramel sweetish IIPA - not enough bitterness.

Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - APR 15, 2012
Serving: 12 oz. bottle via trade. It pours a hazy, muddled orange with a thick, off white head. The nose is a huge blast of overripe tropical fruit. Lots of pineapple, guava, and starfruit. The flavor has some sticky malt sweetness up front which is quickly blasted away by all those tropical hops. A big bruiser of a IIPA. Medium to full body with softer carbonation and a long, bitter finish. Nice brew!

IrishBoy (3944) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAR 29, 2012
12 oz bottle from Odeed. Nose is big time toffee, with a hint of pine and citrus. Lightly hazed copper with a big pale beige head that laces heavily and lasts a long time. Flavor is bitterness, toffee, and a bit of pine resin.
