Tap. Yellow/orange pour with white head and a lot of lacing. Smells of hops an malt. Not that hoppy bitter for a double ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ The Pub at Monte Carlo, Las Vegas. Hazy orange pour, thin white head. Aroma of orange, citrus, spices, some wet dog and a bit swampy yeast. Flavor is bitter hoppy, spicy and with some unfermented sugars. Seems a bit off to me.

9 oct 2013, bottle. Light orange, clear, steady bubbles, thick, rocky head. Nose is grapefruit rind and some sweet orange pulp. Med body and moderately fizzy. Slightly sweet granola malt, orange pulp, moderate alcohol, piney hops, some bitterness. Outstanding! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - looks pretty nice - lightly hazy copper, with a frothy, sticky, thick lace - nose of citrus, Juicy Fruit gum, cherries soaked in simple syrup, pine resin -soft carbonation in the mouth - flavor is simple and quite sweet, with a juicy citrus flavor that gives the overall impression of those little fruit cups of mandarin oranges - a sharp hop acid bite finishes - harsh.

12 ounce bottle thanks to jake65. Pours a hazed copper with a velvety beige head of foam. The aroma has a soft herbal briny presence that hovers towards pine and fresh cut grass and pineapple. The taste, though, gives me more of a resinous bitter profile. Some malt backbone shows up about mid pallette. Pretty nice beer.

Bottle from T’s liquor. Pours light orange with a thin white head. Not much on the nose. Very sweet on the tongue with a slight pine note somewhere. Finishes clean. needs more hops.

Bottle at Lincoln WIne Bar. A big beer, lots of malt sweetness, some fruit, a good dose of hops. Straightforward, good beer.

Color is clearish orangish copper. Light head, scattered light lace. Mild aroma for double ipa status but I dont know where this bottle has been, could have floated on the ocean to a beach and carried by a stork to a localish liquor store for all its worth. A little malty with light hops. Taste has subtle hops with a nice double ipa maltyness, finish is refined and balanced with citrus and pine and sweetness.Mild linger. Decent double ipa. As a double Ipa, I like this more than average as I dislike alot of double ipa’s.
