3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
355mL thanks to blutt59. Pours a clear orange orange with a large, off-white head. Rings of sticky lace. Nose is sticky booze, red fruits, sweet nectarine. Taste up front is richer, syrupy, and sharp boozy. Ends with pretty soft balance. Not bad at all but sugary and pretty boozy. Not really bitter at all.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at Freakin’ Frog in Las Vegas. The beer is a lustrous orange-copper color with a medium foamy light beige head that recedes slowly. Sticky sheet of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits and hops. Medium body with flavors of zesty citrus, hops and bready malt. The finish is hoppy with a lingering slightly resiny hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle: Pours a clear deep bronze amber with a pillowy froth of white head. Has a sweet toasted caramel malty nose with some juicy grapefruity hops and a touch of oxidation. Starts with good fullness and sweet light caramel malts with some resiny bittering and flavor hop balance before a drier, bittersweet finish. A true to style and well-hopped IIPA.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Poured translucent medium orange with a towering cap of sticky white head. The aroma picked up fresh grass and piney hoppage over a soft pale and honey base.. straightforward and well presented. The flavor found lighter fruits and honey at the core, with a sharp, and not always enjoyable blend of assertive grassy, floral, and peppery bitterness around.. alcohol amplified and was a little raw at the end.. not as clean as the nose. Medium-bodied and a touch thick on the palate.. some very good components in here, but it didn’t come together all that well.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle. Orange liqueur, melon and tinned peach aroma with plenty of alcohol, and hints of wine gums, Darjeeling and honey. Dusty copper with a slender magnolia head. Slick, slightly hot and grapefruity with a streak of softer, tropical Fruit Salad hop and leafy Darjeeling. Honeyed, floral..but somewhat booze-laden and charmless, without the brilliant hop freshness of some of the paler, lower ABV US beers I’ve had this week.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Courtesy of douglas88. Pours copper with faint haze, off white head and some dandy sheet lacing. The aroma begins with a touch of grapefruit and then quickly slides into pine and then nearly tree sap with a sense of malt sweetness in the background. The taste begins with a short sweet malt pulse becoming citrus with grapefruit as well as growing pine hop bitterness. To midway and toward the finish both the grapefruit and pine like hop bitterness come to a zenith and then slide down to the finish leaving grapefruit and tangelo hop flavor with a bit of pine bitter hop zing hanging around deep into the after taste. Solid DIPA delivering an abundance of bitterness and some hop flavor, cheers!
