Nice citrus nose. Taste us more citrus and some sweetness. Very balanced 2ipa . Almost doesn’t taste like a 2 ipa which is kinda nice. Nicely done

12 oz. bottle, shared with multiple others at brewclub. Pours a thin off white well retained head, with some lacing, over a slightly hazy, amber (SRM 12) body.....nose is pine, resin, grapefruit peel, slight cereal malts, no esters, balance to the hops.....taste is slightly sweet, with light toffee/caramel, pine, resin grapefruit peel , light licorice, pineapple, finishing with a sharp bitterness....mouth feel, medium body, astringent, slight alcohol warmth. This is a simple, sweet, very bitter I/DIPA. The bottle may have been too old. BJCP 6/3/10/4/5

Can. Pours clear orange with off-white head. Aroma is strong of oranges, citrus, sweet, malty, very floral, resinous. Taste is floral, resinous, medium bodied, good carbonation. Very good.

Pours deep amber/brown with a pillowy off white head. Earthy floral and grapwfruit aroma with some biscuit malt. Taste is same as the aroma with dank hop flavor and medium bitterness that lingers. Dont care for the aftertaste. A bit to danky and earthy for a dipa

Poured from bottle into a tulip glass, golden orange color with small head. This IPA definitely has a sweeter taste than most doubles. The hoppy base is complemented with tastes of citrus (orange and lemon) and a hint sweetness. Not a bad beer, but nothing special. Unique taste does make it stand out a little more than others.

Cans. Soapy and piney. Could be hoppier, but perhaps it just isn’t fresh enough. Nice balance and not harsh in any way.

Bottle split at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14 thanks to JF. Lightly hazed golden amber with moderate off white edgeing and spotting. Nose is caramel malt, light spice, bitter citric peel, earthy hop. Taste comprises light pine, orange pith, grapefruit, touch of mango, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with hop bitterness. Drinkable stuff but lower end of the style spectrum for me.

A double ipa to give your palate a rest. No overdone bitterness. Foamy head lasts several minutes. Light amber color. Light hop aroma with a hint of malt. 9% abv is hidden in the flavors. Sweet, slightly floral romantics. Nice malt back bone balances the more subtle bitterness. A very pleasant beer to drink. Not over the top , but made to sit back and sip in a chair and relax. Two of these and you will be in a very relaxed state. I really enjoyed this interpretation of a double ipa.

GBBF Day 1. Bottle share. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth with mild fine carbonation. Sweetish creamy malts, little caramel. Sweetish marmalade and dried fruit hops. Pine. Nice touch of lime marmalade as well! Floral tones. Modest tropical fruits and even a touch of apricot. Light finish. Nice.

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Clear amber lasting cream head. Hop resiny aroma. Some toffee biscuit sweetness in the mouth. Very smooth in the mouth. Quite hoppy but not over the top. No real burn on the finish. The ABV is hidden well. If I made a DIPA this is how I would want it to turn out, balanced and hoppy but not super hoppy, good biscuit and sweetness in the mouth and good bitterness on the finish. Good
