Like your favorite hammock, this IPA is perfectly relaxed and balanced. The smoothness of premium barley lies in equilibrium with the hoppiness of a classic American IPA. Kick back and reward yourself with this multiple award-winner.

Bottle @ Squatters. Clear orange pour with white foam. Grass and orange peel hop aromas at first. Kind of sweet and peachy, too. There’s a nice bit of bread, a hint of caramel, and some light pine. It’s not bad, but sweeter than I usually like in an IPA...still, good citrus qualities and some nice hints of fruit in there. Not bad.

Aroma: mango, papaya, pine, herbs. Appearance: slightly hazy golden color, thin white head. Taste: medium/low bitterness (resin and citrus), some citrus notes, thin malty backbone, quite dry. Palate: medium bodyand medium carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Decent IPA, but taste should me more complex and refreshing.

12 oz bottle from Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits - Muscatine. Clear orange appearance with a white head and light lacing. Aroma of resinous hops, pine, grass and light citrus. Similar flavor, moderate to heavy hop bitterness balanced by a moderate malt sweetness. Medium body, a little syrupy on the palate with a mild sweet, lasting finish. Decent IPA.

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with whitr head. Citrus, floral notes, and just a hint of grass on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a bit of malt and not a big hop bite.

Hazy orange-brown pour with a two finger, creamy off white head that has great retention and leaves some grainy lacing. Aroma is caramel, toast, light nutty notes, bright, sweet citrus notes and light berry notes. Flavor is caramel, toast, husky grain, spicy and citrus hops and mineral notes. A little pine and light medicinal notes come out as it warms. Light to medium body, medium, sharp carbonation, fairly dry feel throughout with a surprising hop acid bite, despite not tasting or smelling all that hoppy, or being all that bitter. Decent overall.

Bottle pours hazy orange with lasting lace. Big malty IPA flavors - marmalade, especially - soft hops, with a malty rather than dry finish. Overall, a nice beer for those IPA lovers looking for big flavor and soft hops.
