UPDATED: JUL 6, 2005 Clear with a golden/medium yellow hue; weak white head; OK lace. Curiously "fishy" nose. Body was OK up front, but seemed to become thinner toward the finish. Lightish, chewy-sweet malts (white bread, honey and soft caramel). Hops were flowery and decent; OK bitterness. Notes of orange rind and pepper and a hint of grapefruit in the background. No major off-flavors, but the beer seemed a little stark and a little unbalanced.

Pours a pretty copper color. Heavy lacing sticks to your glass the whole way down as you drink. Smells strong of fresh hops. I can pick up a scent of pine and citrus as well. Best I.P.A. i’ve ever tasted. Not overly acidic or sour like too many I.P.A.’s. Hoppy, but well balanced. Very clean, fresh flavor.

Bottle. Murky orange color with a nice coating white head. Light orange and grapefruit aroma, sweet citrus mostly. Flavor is light, as are the hops... some sweet pine and mandarin oranges. A simple IPA, but very drinkable. No defects, just not complex or deep. Syrupy coating texture.

Pungent grapefruit hop nose is clean and very sweet. Slightly hazy golden blond with thin white head that diminishes to cover with some sticky lacing. Flavour is all cascade hops - grapefruit all the way with an underlying sweetness and perhaps an herbal almost minty note in the finish. Carbonation prickles the tongue while body is fairly light and refreshing. Bottle.

This is a really good IPA that I had out of the bottle while in the SLC airport. This is a really good IPA and is pretty underrated on this site. With the 6% ABV and awesome hop flavor, it was pretty darn good

NABA ’04: Clear, yellow, sticky head & lacing. The aroma is full of cascades, dry hopps, some malt, not too up front. Flavor is moderately bitter, just enough to counter the sweetness with a little extra changes. The dry hops are the only thing that carry this beer.

Slightly copper hued, more so yellow with a solid with cap and tons of lacing in sheets. Nice aroma of freshly dried hop cones, leafy, grassy, fresh, with a smallish pale malt backing. Taste is lovely fresh with hop tones, leafy, green, grassy, nice bittering tones that are alpha acid packed with goodness and just mild enough to not over do it. Pleasingly placed malts add some zip of dried bread grains. The hops are really nice in fresh, very yummy with just a bit of pine and citric things to keep in some interest, but the freshness of leafyness is what made me keep on drinking this stuff. My is it tasty! Medium body feel and well carbonated with a substantial hop bittering thats fresh and leafy. Actually reminded me of a toned down Dreadnaught. That may be saying much, but htis stuff really was nice. I must have got a super fresh sixer, cuz it was fantastic.
