Location: Draft at Ginger Man - Houston, 7/23/13

Aroma: The nose is on the lighter side, but is has some nice, clean hops
Appearance: This one pours a nice, copper color, with a fairly small head
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet and medium bitter, decent hop feel for an English IPA
Palate: It has a medium body, a clean, crisp feel, and a medium dry finish
Overall Impression: My first rating from Squatters/Salt Lake Brewing. Nice, clean, easy drinking IPA. What’s not to enjoy here?

Hops are clean and expressive. Malt flavor is light but very appealing. Some sweetness balances light bitterness creating an easy and accessible balance. Finish is long and complex.

12oz bottle pour, pretty fresh. Golden body, with a minimal white head. Decent lacing. Moderately bitter, with some fruit and malt undertones. Definitely tasted the malts as it warmed. Good sour finish, pretty solid IPA!

Nice, citrusy IPA. Not nearly as good as this brewery’s "Hop Rising" Double IPA, but still enjoyable. Slightly buttery mouth-feel, with more kick at the back-end. Aroma matches the flavor. This has slightly less flavor as it warms and becomes more watery.
