Like your favorite hammock, this IPA is perfectly relaxed and balanced. The smoothness of premium barley lies in equilibrium with the hoppiness of a classic American IPA. Kick back and reward yourself with this multiple award-winner.

Pours a hazy thick attractive orange with medium offwhite head and yeast floaties. Smell is amber ale like crystal malt, tea and hops. Taste is tea and medium hop bitterness with kind of a dull hop flavor. Not particularly fresh, or fruity from the hops, but overall it is decent. Full body and prickly carbonation. Just not my prefered flavor profile.

12 oz bottle, best by 7/16/14. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a big meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet bready malts with some grassy hops.

The flavor is sweet toasted malts with some grassy bitterness and a little fruit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, it’s very subdued and sweet and grassy.

bottle - Pours orange with a large dense head and has a good grapefruit hop aroma. The flavor is moderate to high bitterness with citrus and some up front malt sweetness. It’s medium bodied with fine carbonation and overall a very solid IPA.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2015 5/18/2014: Light orange body with white head and lacing. Juicy fruit, malts, a touch of hops in the aroma. Taste is not very bitter, more on the malt side for an IPA, at least the bottle I tried. Re-rate: 5/2/2015: I like the candy finish on this. Looks the same as my first rating, but while it’s not super bitter, it does have a splash of Belgian candy note or bubblegum on the finish ,and resin, which I liked. Upped the rating a bit.

Bottle. Nose is citrus and grapefruit. Clean. Maybe a little too malt forward for my liking.

Awesome pine, citrus, dank aroma. Low malt, low esters. Beer poors hazy gold with a persistent white head. Good malt presence, but bitterness dominates flavor appropriately. Surprisingly low hop flavor, but grapefruit flavors come through. Medium body, drying texture, very lively, and a nice bitter finish. Overall a very approachable IPA with great aroma and supporting malt

12oz bottle from Georgio’s Liquors, Billerica, MA, ABV 6.5%. Amber with a creamy head; the aroma has caramel and spicy hops; the taste is similar with the herbal hops offsetting the sweetness of the caramel nicely; before a dry finish, with some resinous hops and warmth in the background. Rather good and certainly English in style, but reminding me of a good ESB rather than an IPA.

From a 12 oz bottle shared in Park CIty UT. Pours a clear gold with an off white lacey head. Fruity hop nose. Flavors of light citrus and some biscuit. Medium bodied, short bitter finish.
