Clear brown pour, light tan head. Aroma has some dry earthy notes, dry pils yeast, and some fruit. Flavor has some nice pils flavors, fruit esthers and some very very slight hop notes.

hopdog (8821) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2009
18oz bottle acquired in trade with douglas88 (thanks!). Poured a medium and hazy amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of nuttiness, earhty, toasty, caramel and buttered popcorn that started drowning everything out. Tastes of the same butteriness. Sour, sour finish. Something was off with this....

"20th Annibrewsary" bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a fading off-white head over a clear copper body. Aroma of butter/margarine, orange marmalade and caramel. Taste is fruity and grainy with caramel and toast. Medium carbonation, finishes dry.

Ibrew2or3 (6782) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - OCT 30, 2009
Small handle accented swing top growler courtesy of douglas88. Pours clear copper with some gold edges and thin white head. The aroma is sweet with malts and a bit of caramel, dates, prunes and yeasty spice. The flavor is much the same with a mix of caramel, dates, plums, apricots and spice. Pretty sweet overall and picking up the standard notes for the style that I can’t always discern.

Another nice beer from Squatters. Available during the 20th anniversary celebrations in 500 ml bottles for in house and big old growler-type bottles for take out. Pours a deep copper color with a massive off-white head. The aroma is sweet caramel, loads of rich fruity and sweet malt notes. The flavor is a very drinkable and fresh mix of sweet caramel, rich malts, light hops and a ton of flavors. A nice full mouthfeel. Extraordinarily drinkable. A great beer.

( 18oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) Pours clear amber with nice bubbles and great lacing. Nose is faint but sweet, taste is butterscotch, light toasted grains, with a sweet buttery/oily finish. Quite good for a style I typically dislike.
