4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Okay, I’ll bite. Regardless of this being the first Impy brewed "for sale" (you guys know what I am talking about),I was expecting a lot as Jenny has put her full passion for brewing into this beer. This beer coming from the same Brewmaster as the Fifth Element, I was thinking I was in for a treat. It is very, very dark as it should be. No seeing through this like a lot of wimpy-ass Russian Impy’s and it has a wonderful full aroma of molasses and espresso. This was a pleasure to sip on, it was thick and tasty. Enjoyed with my friends at the Brewpub with all the thoughts of Utah being a beer wasteland behind us now.

Bottle - Molasses, liquorice and soy sauce. Inky black with a small light brown head. Tons of liquorice and booze. As much as I am not a liquorice fan, this works.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
At first I thought this was aged in a scotch girl. Turns out the licorice, molasses, and O'Farrell get the same effect. Really great taste, could use a touch more pallet. The nose is a little soft. Been very good beer

Bottle @ Another Tasting, courtesy of Vaiz. Pours a pitch black beer with a small tanned head on top. Aroma has vanilla, caramel, light chocolate and even some coffee going on. Flavor is medium bitter, some coffee going on. Loads of vanilla going on in the back end. Aftertaste is sweet and short. The sweetness is a bit overwhelming, but very nice still. Good stuff!!
