Brock_Landers (716), Panama City, Florida, USA Jul 29, 2007 Like everything else in the state of Utah.....it underwhelms you....actually, it cracks you up when you really think about it. You could lump all the Squatter’s brews in a bag--pull them out randomly--and still never guess the correct brew. Color is typical....amber....thin white head...crappy malt nose and taste....rye..what rye? Don’t waste your money on any brew in this state unless you can get some Uinta Anniversary barley wine......that’s it...period.
jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 22, 2007 on tap-pours a white head and slightly hazy gold color. Aroma is mild ?. Taste is grain-some sweetness, nice effervescence on front of the tongue, light hops bite. JoeMcPhee (3807), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Jun 14, 2007 Orange-amber colour with a white head. Aroma of cereally malt, a bit of spice. Not much in the way of hops. As the beer warms a bit of rye comes out in the malt. It’s barely perceptible and if I wasn’t looking for it, I’m not sure I’d notice it. Low bitterness and not a lot of hop flavour either. Meh.
