Draft at Squatter’s SLC. Poured a clear medium brownish red, with a slight head. Aroma was toasty malt. Flavor matched. Clean, simple, refreshing. Light bodied. Hops were present as countering bitterness, but that is all they were there for. A very nicely executed Vienna, but ultimately for no good reason, it wasn’t doing much for me either. Probably a mood thing, as this was well done, and a style I sometimes enjoy.

Draft Flight 12/01 (Brewpub-SLC)-Pours a clear light amber with a decent head. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt. Taste of the same with faint toffee and bread. This light to medium bodied brew is not too shabby.

Poured from a growler. This is a fantastic beer! Fruity, bready, slightest hint of sulfur, sweet pilsner malt. Very easy drinking.

on tap in slc on 7/22/10. golden with a white head and decent spotty lacing. it smells and tastes of caramel/toffee, lager-y yeastiness, wood, earthy spices and a little citrus. medium bodied. refreshingly easy to drink because of the tingly hops and sharp carbonation. again, kinda meh. but, i could drink a lot of it. 6/3/6/3/13/3.1

Pours a nice reddish orange color. Aromas of nice citrus/grapefruit hops and sweet malts. Flavor starts nice crisp bitter hop and then mellows to a nice malt.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear copper-brown color with a moderate off-white head that hung around for a while and left some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of soft caramel, bready malts, some grassy hops, and a faint fruitiness. Smooth, lightly sweet entry leads into a nice malty character with hints of caramel, light toffee, and bread that dominate for the majority of the time before subsiding into a crisp, lightly bitter grassy hoppiness that lingered into the finish. Light, crisp carbonation that works well allowing the flavors to come out while keeping the beer light and drinkable. Overall, a really simple, really good beer that I thoroughly enjoyed. It certainly isn’t crazy or off the wall in any way, it’s just dang good.

Draft @ brewpub in SLC
Appearance: dark copper with a white head and lots of lace left in the glass.
Aroma: Banana flavors and malt Taste: Roasted malt that is slightly grainy. The finish is clean, leaving a malt sour taste in your mouth
Overall this is a very good and clean beer.

Deep amber with a nice head. Soft on the tongue. Low to medium carbonation. Toasty malts had a gentle sweetness, with a hint of faint toffee. Slight sourness melded well with the bitterness. Grassy and lemony finish. Not too shabby.
