On tap at the SLC brewpub. Pours a dark amber with a thick white head. The aroma is grainy and light roasted malt. The taste is bready, also some lightly toasted malts and a hop finish. I also taste some apples, this beer is like a Fall day. Pretty good.

Draft at the Brewpub, 10/5/07; nose is bready and caramel malts; clear, dark amber with a snall, glass lacing, off white head.

Poured a clear light bronze hue with a head that quickly settles to a thin cap. The nose was green and grassy with toasted malt coming trough beneth. The flavor had tons of biscuity malt flavors with a nice balance of mild floral and grassy bitterness. The finish was bready with more grassy hops. The feel is a bit thin. Still, this is a pretty good viennese.

On Tap – Clear clean golden color. A deep malt lager aroma and flavor this was a decent lager. Had a very dry finish and was also easy to drink for a hot day.

Tap at the downtown location SLC. Copper coloured brew with a thin white head. Sweet malty aroma. Lots of Vienna malt and a bit of biscuity sweetness. Quite creamy and full-bodied texture. Low bitternes with a bit of diacetyl. Not super objectionable and it fades through the glass. Pretty solid.

GABF 06. Light amber. Aroma is lightly hoppy and some muted malt/grain. Taste is light malts and lightly hoppy, watery thin palate. I guess I can understand, since this is a 3.2 % beer.

I do enjoy a good Vienna style. Can’t say this is one of them. In fairness I was a little under the weather with this tasting, but none the less did not note anything of substance to remark on other than just a plain & thin offering.

medium amber. suprisingly hoppy nose with a smooth hoppy taste. this can’t be a lager. it’s more like an ipa in lager clothing.

draft 3.2%. Tan colored with almost zero aroma. Musky basement taste with malty finish.
