3.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
341ml bottle from The Only Cafe. Champange gold body with beautiful thin, quickly dissipating head. Aromas of peach, apricot, breads. Yeasty tartness hits right away. Peach flavor is strong, almost estery to the point of a fruit beer. Alcohol is the same as the blonde, however it makes itself much more present in the wheat ale. Nice, high, carbonation. I cannot overstate the presense of yeast in this beer, it is wonderful.

There isnít much to say about this beer that isnít featured in its title.
The pour is that typical St-Ambroise champagne bubble gold. Nose is pretty much all apricots, with a bit of spice. One reviewer below found a whole bunch of stuff going on, but Iím too lazy to try to fight through the apricot. Taste is sweet candied apricots, a bit of wheat and other stuff (see several reviews below). Itís sweet, but not overly, with a finish thatís just dry enough to be palate cleansing. As usual with St-Ambroise itís all very nice and well-balanced without being particularly daring.

On tap at the brewery terrace as part of a 12$ tasting set. A clear light copper with a filmy white ring of foam. It has a full on apricot & cream aroma - great. It makes me think of apricot & cream oatmeal, it is delicious.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A surprisingly yeasty apricot beer. Iíd go with fruit beer over american wheat, but they both work. Good in either. Very fruit centered, slightly sweet and slightly tart, bursting with apricot aroma. Well done

Tap. Bright, opaque orange-gold. Good lasting foam. Sweet apricot nose, but tastes of a dry apricot juiciness balanced with wheat and light hopping. Refreshing.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 10/24/2013. Pours fairly crystal clear deep gold color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of big apricot, peach, pear, wheat, honey, floral, grass, and light yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of apricot, pale malt, and fruity yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of apricot, peach, pear, apple, honey, wheat, bread, floral, grass, and light yeast earthiness. Minimal earthy bitterness and slight fruit tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of apricot, peach, pear, apple, wheat, bread, floral, grass, and light yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of apricot, pale malt, and fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/fruit balance and no cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very nice fruit beer. All around good robustness and balance of apricot, pale malt, and fruity yeast flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a bottle. Amber color with a white head. Nose is loaded with sugary apricot. Taste is sweet light a cobbler and light bodied, making this easy to drink in my opinion. I honestly enjoyed this one.

2.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a yellow colour with some head. Aroma is very fruity, exotic and apricot. Taste is sweet and fruity. Aftertaste is more sweetness. Too sweet to be enjoyable in large amounts but interesting in itself.

Bottle. Smells amazing - pure sweet apricot. Sweet apricot and wheat flavour - fairly well balanced. Taste doesn't quite match the aroma but still, very nice.
