11.5 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a dark copper color. Nice head on this one: a one finger off-white shade with a beautiful texture. As it recedes (relatively swiftly), it leaves behind decent amounts of lacing behind. S: There’s a nice aroma of apricots here. Honey, caramel, graham cracker, and wheat help support it. The aroma is generally sweet, but not overbearingly cloying. T: It’s initially quite forward in apricot flavors - decent ones, too, nothing horribly artificial. The flavors slowly transform into a finish/aftertaste laden with graham crackers. It’s quite sweet, though restrained well enough so as to not become cloying. M: It’s nicely clean/crisp on the back end, which I always embrace in these beers. Well carbonated, too. In terms of how it finishes, there’s enough dryness to reduce any overdone sweetness, and enough wetness to make it a great hot weather refresher. O: Quite enjoyable for what it is. Not a world-beater, just a solid fruit beer that goes well with a hot-ass day.

Bottle direct. Wheat flavors are subdued and take a back seat somewhat to the fruit.

Bouteille 341ml. Ambrée 5%. Goût prononcé d’abricot, mais qui est supportable. (bonne petite bière de fille

Canmoore (242) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 3, 2013
Pours a golden clear colour, with a wafer thin white head. Aroma is of..you guessed it! Apricots. Not much else in the aroma. Tasting notes include apricots, but besides that it is watery and leaves a soapy residue in the mouth. A decent summer beer, but still very unoffensive and forgettable.

Brewmetheus (8) - Alberta, CANADA - AUG 1, 2013 does not count
This crisp refreshing flavored brew would have made a terrible wheat ale, as it is thin and sour on the palate. No doubt this is why McAuslan Brewing company of Montreal Quebec imbued it with the flavor of apricots. Astonishingly this is what saved this beer from a profound mediocrity, making it a very quaffable summer brew. This beer is nothing profound, a mild enhancement in an otherwise uninspired brew pretending to be something it is not.

Pours a clear golden colour with a one finger white head that quickly thins to a film. Aroma is big apricot jam. Taste is slightly sweet with a short lived, slightly fruity, aftertaste. Medium carbonation and body with a watery feeling in the mouth. Not a bad beer for what it is. Not a huge fan of the style.

After work pour as the rain chased us off the patio is light & fizzy with a cap that goes nowhere. I’m tasting dried apricots steeped in a wheat. Gina says its like someone dipped a melting creamsicle in the glass & she may just be right. If you like frozen treats dunked in your beer, than this is your drink.
