11.2oz bottle from Xroads. Poured a honey brown body with a smaller and totally fading off white head. Aroma of apricot, mostly arificial sweetened, so e grains. Flavor seems less artificial and more actual apricot, grains, toast, fruit skins. Body is fine, average mouthfeel, medium body, softer carbonation. Meh.

Bottle from the Beer Store. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Pleasant aroma of apricot. Unfortunately any actually beer or wheat beer character is buried under the heavy apricot taste this has none of the attractive tartness of some fruit beers. Bought as part of a sample pack and would not buy again.

Pours clear medium gold with a short finger of loose off-white head diminishing rapidly to nothing, no lacing. Nose is overwhelmingly apricot, with faint hints of wheat, yeast, and pale malt. Taste starts low to moderately sweet, giving way to mild bitter and a lingering apricot flavour. Light body, initially prickly champagne-like carbonation settles to moderate sustained levels, and an off-dry finish. Not bad but I’m less than convinced. On the up side, it doesn’t actually taste fake. The sweetness is actually pretty restrained, preventing it from becoming syrupy or sickly. All things considered, I wouldn’t turn one down on a hot day - but it’s not their best, not by a long margin.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2015 341ml bottle from The Only Cafe. Champange gold body with beautiful thin, quickly dissipating head. Aromas of peach, apricot, breads. Yeasty tartness hits right away. Peach flavor is strong, almost estery to the point of a fruit beer. Nice, high, carbonation.

There isn’t much to say about this beer that isn’t featured in its title. The pour is that typical St-Ambroise champagne bubble gold. Nose is pretty much all apricots, with a bit of spice. One reviewer below found a whole bunch of stuff going on, but I’m too lazy to try to fight through the apricot. Taste is sweet candied apricots, a bit of wheat and other stuff (see several reviews below). It’s sweet, but not overly, with a finish that’s just dry enough to be palate cleansing. As usual with St-Ambroise it’s all very nice and well-balanced without being particularly daring.

On tap at the brewery terrace as part of a 12$ tasting set. A clear light copper with a filmy white ring of foam. It has a full on apricot & cream aroma - great. It makes me think of apricot & cream oatmeal, it is delicious.

A surprisingly yeasty apricot beer. I’d go with fruit beer over american wheat, but they both work. Good in either. Very fruit centered, slightly sweet and slightly tart, bursting with apricot aroma. Well done
