UPDATED: DEC 31, 2012 Il manque le goût d’abricot. Il a un nez comme la laque et il est un peu acidique. Pas de complexité, un aprés goût un peu comme le nez. Pas bonne.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
341 mL bottle from the LCBO, served in a tulip glass. Pours clear amber with a moderate tan head that fades quickly and leaves no lace. On the nose, there are big apricot notes, along with toasted malts, honey and touches of earth and hops. The flavour is slightly sweet up front with plenty of apricots, becoming slightly drier towards the finish, with notes of wheat. The finish is dry with persistent apricot notes. On the palate, it is light in body with a dry texture and average carbonation. Overall, this is a pleasant, albeit somewhat one-dimensional wheat beer. The apricot is a bit too dominant, to the extent that the wheat and malt character is almost undetectable. Would make for a decent summer refresher though. 2012-01-30

11.5 oz bottle. Nice apricot - wheat nose. Big apricot flavor. Sweet taste, sort of tangy. Good clear orange color, thin foamy white head, leaves good lace. Medium body, good smooth lighter carbonation. More dry texture. Floral, but a little watered down. Good natural fruit flavor overall, but it’s a bit too sweet for me.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
pours clear golden orange with a small head, ringed retention, lots of active streams. Bright fruity apricot on the nose. Drinks with a bubbly tingly carbonated mouthfeel, tastes of apricot, 7/10-sweet wheaty malts, yeast, sourish bitter funk thin-watery, non-clean finish. Low-medium complexity, low-med depth, okay transitions, below average carry, below average drinkability.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
341ml bottle. Pours clear, and the colour of honey with an off-white head. Aroma has floral and apricot notes, wheat, and yeast. The taste has bigger malt notes than I expected, big minerality, British style hops, and an artificial perfumy apricot taste that I’m not a fan of. I remember this being more flavourful in the past.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Aroma and taste of apricot, with some malt. Doesn’t blend with the "beer flavours" as well as some other fruit beers I’ve had, but it definitely is a drinkable fruit beer.

Sharp clean golden pour with an effervescent carbonation. Thick creamy off white head. Nose is pretty raw, like cream and apricot/peaches. Lightly tart with some fruit skins and tanning. Tart apricot and bready wheat in the flavor with a creamy sweetness and hints of grain. Medium body with a velvety mouthfeel.
