Hey, apricots and wheat. I’m down with that. What can you possibly hope for with a beer like this? You can hope for a good wheat ale base with which the apricots can blend well in -- importantly -- BOTH flavour and aroma. You’ve got it with this one. Thin. Whatever it’s not a "serious" beer but I’m a fan.

330. Pours a clear burnished dark gold with a light creamy tan head that goes away. Nice sweet fresh fruit nose; gets a little synthetic-sugary as it warms but very pleasant and floral when chilled. Creamy medium body with light carb. Great fruit presence, very pleasant and flavorful and drinkable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Jayseppi (90) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 17, 2012
Burnt orange colour that is crystal clear. Minimal head retention, but some nice lacing down the glass. Scents of the malt are present, but the apricot dommninates the aroma. there is a light fluffiness from the wheat that provides a good base for the apricot to play on. Very well balanced.
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Jessop (178) - AUSTRALIA - APR 17, 2012
The aroma and appearance of this beer are its high points with lovely fruity apricot and some earthy aromas dominating, the beer has a softish carbonation with little apparent lacework. It tastes a little cloyingly sweet with some malt coming through mid palate followed by a slightly dry finish. Ok but not a fav..

Originally rated november 2002. Lightly amber, this fruity beer is a great summertime beer (very refreshing). Average head that is short lasting. Sweet flavor, but well blended - so you can still taste the wheat ale.

UPDATED: APR 10, 2012 Not very impressed. Mild body with a strong apricot finish. Unfortunately the apricot is not accenting the beer...its an after flavour. Probably will not go back for more. Disappointed.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Miksu (4537) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - FEB 9, 2012
Small bottle from Alko. Copper color. Sweet tropical apricot aroma. Sweet apricot flavor with honey and maltier finish. Initially essence like alcopop aroma and taste with a beery finish, a controversial combination.
