Got this as part of the Mcauslan holiday gift pack from last year. It’s almost winter again but should have drank this back in the summer, would’ve made a great summer beer. Very good buttery fruity aroma, almost like a peach cobbler. Fruity taste is subtle; overall a great wheat beer.

Nice clear amber colour with fluffy white head as expected. Aroma is mostly dried apricots with a bit of banana - very sweet. Taste is similar but I would have liked a bit more going on. Bit too sweet.

Can from LCBO. Apricot flavor is more like cheap candy, buttery bread, weird almond paste aftertaste. Not for me, seems quite heavy and off-balance.

Bottle. Clear, golden, frothy, tan foam, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, thin feel, soft carbonation, & astringent finish.

330ml bottle served in a Thumbler glass. A: Pours an absolutely clear orange color forming a medium white and bubbled head. Medium retention and only few lacings left S: Sweet and fruity. Apricot juice, sweet grains, honey, vanilla and wheat. Yeasts T: Sweet upfront. Strong notes of apricot. Sweet grains, wheat, honey, vanilla and wheat. Overall a slightly sweet beer. Apricot pie. with a light hoppy bitterness in the very end. Canadian yeasts which can also be felt on Unibroue beers. Interesting... M: Light to medium body. Good carbonation. Fruity and bready aftertaste O: Good drinkability. Good Fruit beer [ BA Review @ 2/23/2013 ]

11.2oz bottle from Xroads. Poured a honey brown body with a smaller and totally fading off white head. Aroma of apricot, mostly arificial sweetened, so e grains. Flavor seems less artificial and more actual apricot, grains, toast, fruit skins. Body is fine, average mouthfeel, medium body, softer carbonation. Meh.

Bottle from the Beer Store. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Pleasant aroma of apricot. Unfortunately any actually beer or wheat beer character is buried under the heavy apricot taste this has none of the attractive tartness of some fruit beers. Bought as part of a sample pack and would not buy again.

Pours clear medium gold with a short finger of loose off-white head diminishing rapidly to nothing, no lacing. Nose is overwhelmingly apricot, with faint hints of wheat, yeast, and pale malt. Taste starts low to moderately sweet, giving way to mild bitter and a lingering apricot flavour. Light body, initially prickly champagne-like carbonation settles to moderate sustained levels, and an off-dry finish. Not bad but I’m less than convinced. On the up side, it doesn’t actually taste fake. The sweetness is actually pretty restrained, preventing it from becoming syrupy or sickly. All things considered, I wouldn’t turn one down on a hot day - but it’s not their best, not by a long margin.
