Pours a pale amber with a nice white head. Nose is full blown apricot! Awesome! Flavor is sweet apricot, light malt and slight hop bitterness on the finish. Very clean and refreshing. Prefect for hot days sitting out on the porch.

The Apricot flavour is beautifully transpired while not being overly strong. It looks brilliant in a glass.

An enlightening lesson on appropriate glassware. I first tried this in a wine glass and it was everything a fruit beer should be. Strong, aromatic apricot entirely on the nose worked together with the wheat flavour creating a harmony between the two senses. Then I tried it in a Belgian goblet so I could fully appreciate the aroma, but in the larger glass the scent overpowered the flavour. It was as though the beer knew it was in the wrong glass, and punished me for pouring it this way by turning putrid. Never have I encountered a beer that depended so heavily on being served in the right shaped glass. For this one a flute or wineglass is a must. It’s made me rethink beer in general. What if every beer I’ve ever had has been served in the wrong glass. Must I go back and retry every golden beverage I’ve ever tasted? What if it turns out Faxe Strong tastes like goat piss in a pint glass but liquid gold when wrung out of a dirty bar towel? This is going to take some experimenting.

Bright golden appearance, very fluffy head. Strong apricot aroma, backed by orange, sweetness, some tropical fruitiness. Flavour stays the same, apricot is near over-powering. Its very well-crafted, as is all of McAuslan’s beers, so good marks for quality. But this beer is not for me.

Fruitiness/apricot, wheat grain and a hint of yeast. The flavor is thankfully not too heavy on the apricot, with a decent malty graininess to it. Normally not my favorite style but this was pretty good.

This was cool - the aroma is sweet, light, refreshing and very apricot... Not super potent though. Didnt really look like a wheat beer though - totally transparent, but nice nonetheless. Taste was really nice at first, fresh apricot, bit of vanilla, soft malts.. But as it warmed got a bit medicinal... Finish is crisp and overall quenching. Great in the summer!

Arôme léger de fruit. Goût un peu acidulé d’abricot. Bière légère se dégustant bien sur une terrasse.

Apricot is an interesting fruit in beer. This beer has a wheat base with a clean crisp yeast having been selected - which is rather ordinary. Not outstanding but still quite good.

Pours a thin white head with medium carbonation. Aromas of peach and bubblegum. pale orange and transparent in appearance. fairly strong taste of apricot without being overpowering. People who like the taste of apricot (and are a fan of fruit beers) will likely love it. Those who don’t will hate it.
