Elle est belle dans sa robe dorée et scintillante et son couvre-chef tend à rapetisser en un mince voile. Ça sent le sirop de pêche, même si on suggère l’abricot. Ça me semble trop prononcé, à la limite de l’artificiel. Ça goûte l’abricot, c’est suret et acidulé et c’est sûrement la suggestion de blé que j’ai de la difficulté à saisir, tellement la présence fruitée est forte. (628-080513)

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye The smell is apricot, peaches, more fruit all upfront, and wheat. The look is golden in color, whitish head, and clear. The taste is sweet, fruits, and apricot.

Dark golden and transparent, light head low to mid carbonation. Smells of apricot nectar, almost soapy sweet (if that makes sense). Taste artificial. Malty and sweet. Wheat ale is not well represented. Certainly a more pleasurable experience than other flavoured wheat ales I have had. Not my favorite style of beer. Helps establish a better beer palate if anything. Pours a clear golden color with an orange tinge and a frothy white head that dissipates into a ring. Aroma of sweet apricots, wheat and some pale malts. Taste is apricots with some wheat and barley and then a nice clean and crisp dry finish with a hint of hop bitterness. Overall an excellent fruit beer.

Elle goûte la bière ordinaire qu’on aurait ensuite aromatisée. Note à moi-même (fait vécu l’an dernier): ne jamais boire immédiatement après une St-Ambroise noire.

Tasted in October 2011. Aroma is apricot, candy and jujube. Appearance: Blond, between average and thin creamy head, not lasting much. Taste is sweet and acid. Apricot is very present with notes of candy and jujube. No bitterness and a slightly acid taste. A candy beer.

341ml bottle. Clear amber pour with very little head. Nose of apricots with a discernible malt character. A touch sticky on the palate with a light apricot flavour. Nowhere near as bad as a lot of wheat fruit beers but not very interesting either.

Bottled (shared with FatPhil). One of the fastest ratings ever done, running over Rautatientori in Helsinki to catch my train, and opening + drinking from this while running (colour sample taken from the air while pouring a bit of the beer on the ground). Orange colour, no head sample possible under the conditions when tasting it. Aroma was wheat and apricot in a rather sweet way. Flavour is rather similar with also some mild grainyness to it. In such an ok fruit beer, but at the same time rather sweet.
