3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 stantheman (363) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 18, 2013
Bottle from a 4-pack purchased at Liquor Barn in North Burnaby. A lighter IPA, this one, both in color and taste. Nicely hopped with a bit of malt in the background. A nice, lightly hopped ale that goes down real easy. Not of interest to hop fetishists.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Hungarian_G (80) - - APR 26, 2013
Golden pour with off-white foam. Balanced, with some floral hop notes poking through the malt sweetness. Not my favourite IPA, but a good "go to" when it is on sale ($6.99 for a 6-pack in Gatineau! Hell yeah!).
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ferris (503) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 24, 2013
Draft - Tropical fruit and caramel. Clear gold with a decent white head. Mild grapefruit and more tropical fruits with a resinous bitterness. Not bad but pretty plain.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 RogertheKid (56) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 18, 2013
A good everyday beer. In my mind, closer to an APA than an IPA, not very powerful in bitterness, but very well balance. Because it’s a McAuslan, the price is more affordable making it a very good "fridge" beer. Well done.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Tricker (205) - Quebec, CANADA - APR 17, 2013
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 KorGranDi (49) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 28, 2013
341 ml. 6.2%. Blonde légèrement ambrée. Goute le houblon IPA. Sucrée sans être sirupeuse.
Très bonne bière. Le fait que c'est une McAuslan et donc facile à trouver est un plus.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 rarbring (659) - Linköping, SWEDEN - MAR 23, 2013
Aroma: Smelling citric, papaya and soap. Appearance: A clear amber colored beer. A off-white head with some lacing and good curtains. Taste: Tasting toffee, bread, pine, lemon and grape-fruit peel. Palate: Medium high carbonation, a soft and oily texture. A good body with a good dry finish. Overall: Hoppy, fresh and intense. Very AIPA. Note: At Bières et Compagnie Reviewed 2013-03-21.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 lesifflebiere (444) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 3, 2013
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Bière-Luc (298) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 1, 2013
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Metalchopz (1753) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 18, 2013
Finally got a 6-pack of this at my local Métro store. Pours a clean golden-amber colour with a huge foamy head that lasts a very long time and puts out soapy lacing. Cascade hops are present at first, but balanced with some caramel. With time, grainy malt appears. The mouthfeel is kind of creamy with the head, and not too bitter, not too dry for an IPA. Mild grapefruit taste with the caramel malt, hints of peach and other fruits. This is a decent, middle-of-the-road IPA, for those who prefer their hoppy IPA being balanced with lots of sweeter malts.
