Great beer, one of my favorites Nekronos (2243), Xalapa, Mexico Sep 15, 2006 I love this style of Stouts. A sweet aftertaste, not so roasted grain flavours but nice, special foam with a yellow line in the top. Like water layers on it while looking against the light. bierkoning (5985), La Tropica, Netherlands Sep 13, 2006 LCRBM2: Roast, coffee and blackcurrant in the aroma. Thin. POD (198), USA Sep 2, 2006 Bottle from the Beer Store in Niagra Falls, Ontario Canada. Pours a beautiful dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Aroma is sweet with whiffs of baked oatmeal cookies. Tasty roast oats and coffee flavors were immediatley noticed and appreciated. Aftertast is a dry, slighlty bitter chocolate that is a perfect finish for this stout. Highly recommended. I will look forward to drinking this again.
