Had the whole bottle to myself. Rich and satisfying full dark malt flavours with some liquorice. Perfect after dinner drink

does not count  Sep 16, 2006 12 oz bottle. Pours a black with a nice tan head. Coffee and chocolate flavours come through on this one. Very nice mild-bitteness in the finish. This is always a must have in my fridge. Great beer, one of my favorites

Sep 15, 2006 I love this style of Stouts. A sweet aftertaste, not so roasted grain flavours but nice, special foam with a yellow line in the top. Like water layers on it while looking against the light.

Sep 10, 2006 [2nd Low Countries RateBeer meeting] Aroma of chocolate and coffee malts, butterscotch and some cookies. Opaque, black coloured with a lasting brownish head. Taste is sweet, roasted malty, some hops and a very pleasant coffeebitter finish. Medium body. Lovely brew!

Sep 2, 2006 Bottle from the Beer Store in Niagra Falls, Ontario Canada. Pours a beautiful dark brown with a creamy light tan head. Aroma is sweet with whiffs of baked oatmeal cookies. Tasty roast oats and coffee flavors were immediatley noticed and appreciated. Aftertast is a dry, slighlty bitter chocolate that is a perfect finish for this stout. Highly recommended. I will look forward to drinking this again.
