Commercial Description:
St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout consistently beats out international stouts in blind tastings and competitions. This intensely black ale carries strong hints of espresso and chocolate. The oatmeal contributes body and ensures a long-lasting mocha-coloured head. If you like stout, you will love St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout.

A black beer with a chocolate brown head. The aroma is very lovely sweet with roasted coffee notes. The flavor is nicely roasted with notes of coffee, but the body is unfortunately thin.

Dark brownish black. Nicely malty, big chocolate aroma, very soft and perfectly balanced. One of the many amazing stouts made in Montreal.

(Bottle 34,1 cl) Clear, dark brown with an underlying warm, orange note and a light brown head. Roasted, vinous aroma. Malts are hard roasted, but you only get the slightest burned sensation. Quite mellow, lightly fruity with dry, coffeeish notes. Rather smooth and pleasant. 281105

Black, with a big, dark brown head; potent roast aroma with slight alcohol and faint Ringwood yeast notes (all that black malt and they still can't kill it!); intense roastiness, very dry, hops in the back; has probably the biggest black malt note of any beer I know; bitter chocolate; big, fat, dry - absolutely decadent.

Bottle thanx to Henrikb. Black colour with a big brown head. Oat, chocolate, light roasted, coffee aroma and taste. Medium body with a very dry finish.
