12oz bottle-pours a rich brown head and black color. Aroma is rich/sweet dark malt-chocolate, secondary earthy hops. Taste is dark malt-chocolate, lots of ask. Not my taste. Thanks decaturstevo for sharing.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
Pours dark brown with a stunning coffee-brown and exceptionally creamy head. Really great duration and soft lacing. Stunning sweet aroma, lots of sweet milk chocolate, light coffee notes and mildly roasted. Some vanilla as well. Light and still a bit creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, a good chocolate note and a mild roasted bitterness. This is one hell of a stout, considering the 5 % ABV.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a pitch black colour with a nice big creamy rocky light brown well lasting head leaving a good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, smoke, biter chocolate, coffe and some liquorice. Good mouthfeel though I suspected a more creamy one. The flavour has a very pleasant roastiness with chocolate, coffee, oat, some smoke and dark fruits, The finish is quite roasty with some bitterness and coffee. A good stout but rather thin. It needs more body.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
half a year past it’ s due date. Bottle from ølbutikken enjoyed at home.
pours somewhere between black and very dark brown, brown head that doesn’t seem entirely stable.
strong aroma of coffeee, roasted malts, toffee, chocolate, faint banana milkshake.
very very strong flavor, more than full bodied, starts out slightly sweet and chocolaty and ends superdry heavily roasted without becoming burnt. aftertaste very dominated by roasted malts and other roasted stuff.
palate is real nice, thick brew, but strangely, somehow it feels a little watery too. Overall it is absolutely amazing that someone gets this much flavor out of a brew at only 5%. If i had to guess, i’d put the ABV at 10% and guess this was an imp.stout or something. for a 5% beer we’ve got unbeliveably intense flavor and aroma. and i though guinness was amazing for a "low alc", blah. this is the real stuff.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
It’s a pitch black beer with a huge, creamy and light brown head. The aroma has lots of roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. The flavour is smooth and round, but it also has a bitterness from the hard roasted malt, a light sourness from the oats and notes of chocolate and coffee. The finish is incredibly long and the flavour is developing from start to the end. It’s impressive that all that taste can be found in a beer with only 5% - well done!!! 1719

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Wine & Cheese Place in (near) St. Louis, MO. Opaque black color with a humongous multi-finger dark tan head. Smells of toasted/burnt malt, vanilla & coffee. Could be very light smoke. Essentially medium body with mild, smooth carbonation. Flavor is toasted/burnt malt with some strong coffee. There is a really light touch of smoke. Finish is pretty balanced - neither sweet nor bitter. Good stout.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark opaque brown with a thick creamy beige head and solid lacing.
Aroma of cocoa powder and burnt coffee beans.
Tastes of bitter chocolate and caramel, not much of a finish, which was the only thing preventing a 4.5 taste rating.
Positively chewy, excellent body.
Classic example of the style, well worth seeking out.
