St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout consistently beats out international stouts in blind tastings and competitions. This intensely black ale carries strong hints of espresso and chocolate. The oatmeal contributes body and ensures a long-lasting mocha-coloured head. If you like stout, you will love St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout.

Bottle: Pours fizzy, cola-black with a dark tan, cascading head. Chocolate, oatmeal and a dash of cinnamon in he aroma. Taste is lightly bitter, coffee....cream, chocolate malt..a bit of smokiness. Very smooth and filling.....slightly thin feel, but rich and robust despite the lightness. Very tasty.....I could drink these everyday.

Poured from bottle. Little lacing and the head vanished in a couple of minutes. Kind of a burnt toffee and coffee aroma. The coffee came through a bit more in the taste. Nice carbonation and very smooth. Decent beer, still prefer the Rogue oatmeal though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of roast coffee with hints of oatmeal. Dark brown and almost opaque in colour. Taste: slight roast coffee with very little oatmeal Finishes slightly sour Overall fairly well balanced stout with slightly less oatmeal than expected.

Une de mes meilleures stout. Cremeuse et veloutй. Une biere au gout de blй caramelisй. Pas sucrйe genre chocolatй. lйgerement torrйfiй. C’est une excellente biere qui accompagne les viandes fumйes a merveille.

The St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout pours black with a nice thick brown head that lasts a good while. The aroma is chocolate and espresso and the flavor follows suite pretty accurately. This is a good solid oatmeal stout. This is very smooth and easy to drink. Overall this is a solid beer.
