Pours a slightly copper color but not as cloudy as most blondes. Beige head fades quickly. Hops on the nose. Very hoppy flavor but also a little sweet. FLnative80 (174), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2008 Bottle. 12 fl. oz. A light copper color with an off-white colored head. Nice longevity and decent lacing. Aromas of hops, light citrus, bread, and caramel malt. Light to medium bodied with fairly dry texture. Flavor is lightly sweet at first with a hoppy bitter middle and a lingering, dry, bitter end. The flavor is a little weak and never seems to fully develop, but I like this beer. maltdog (514), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 22, 2008 Pours pale amber with mossy brown tones; a stiff ivory head leaves plentiful lace. Candyish malt and hop spice dominate the nose… hints of lemon, marigold, banana, old books, and mint add complexity. An upfront thick, buttery malt flavor (not diacetyl) is followed by mineral and honey sensations, and finishes on a thin blade of citrus and menthol. Full-bodied, dense, chewy, creamy. A mild earthy-bitter aftertaste completes the experience. This is a hearty, hefty brew that could stand up to fatty sausages, game, or a mild cigar. cheapdark (2015), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 20, 2008 Looks nice, light brown orange and sparkling clear. Bitter malty first taste. tends to have more alky flavor than the 5%b listed here. A little strong at times for this lager lover. Did I say its strongish? Near medicinal lingering finish, Interesting lacing. Not worth the $2.50 I spent for the 12 oz twist off bottle. Glad to have the chance to try it though. jstraw (758), Chicago, Illinois, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 13, 2008 Bottle from Wine and Cheese Place in (near) St. Louis, MO. Coppery color with a fine, foamy beige head. Aroma is primarily roasted caramel with a hint of fruity hop. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is rather floral, with light roasted caramel. Halfway between APA and ESB. Maybe the finish is a bit too bit for an ESB. Very refreshing. Smooth with no raw harsh impression. Good drink. fonefan (11075), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Sep 8, 2008 Pours clear copper with off ehite head. Grassy hop aroma and flavor with a slight fruittiness and some sweet maltiness. Medium body with lively carbonation. I was dissappointed with this one. I really like their oatmeal stout and was hopeing to like this as well.
