On tap at the winking judge in Hamilton, Ontario. Pours a dark amber body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma is bready, hoppy, and bites you right in the nose. taste is biscuity, fruity, and bitter hops. Well balanced, which makes this PA an amazing session beer in my opinion.

Carbonation and hop works to make it quite drinkable and a champion Canadian beer. This brewery doesn’t have an inferior product. Excellent balance, above-average smell in head that dissipitates. Can drink this for a long time. Sweet start, excellent clean aftertaste.

Amber orangish w/ a lasting off white head. A little bit of dry woody hop, and a fairly noticeable diacetyl. Fruitiness is low, and is slightly papery (oxidized). Well balanced, lightly bitter, and fruity sweetness is higher than int the aroma. There is a lightly acidic quality that sours it just a little. Hints of caramel; dry finish, a relatively light hop and stronger diacetyl aftertaste as it warms. Medium bodied w/ medium carbonation and dry mouthfeel. Not too bad of a beer! I'd prefer American pales like Sierra Nevada, but this is a pretty good one!

Slight hazed amber body frothy light tan head. The aroma is, well different, day-past-prime-peaches, some wood and an English hop aroma. The flavor is a milder version of the aroma, with an odd bitterness that is almost equivalent to tobacco bitterness. Body is smooth and medium. Long lasting aftertaste. Intersting but not my favorite.

Deep gold beer with a nice hoppy nose but with a clear diacetyl problem. Nice crisp malts in mouth with light citrus and floral hops. A good medium body.

Superb golden-copper beer with a dense and stable head. Great fruity/malty aroma with some hints of bread. Robust, dashing and definitely bitter hopsy/floral flavor that ends in a moderately bitter final. Even at 3,5/5, that beer is quite underrated. For about 1,60 CAD, this is probably the best deal you can get among pale ales.

I love this beer. It has been my everyday "session" beer for years and I kind of forgot that I hadn't rated it since joining this great community. Great orangey copper colour with thin head but lots of lacing. Fresh floral aromas supplemented beautifully by lots of hops. Smooth sweet slightly bitter taste leads to a lingering mildly bitter finish. Nice.

This beer is like candy. The first few drops really taste like caramel... but then the real fiesta starts as the after taste hits like a Todd Bertuzzi going on rampage! Rich, warming presence, this is a beautiful example of a pale ale, one that many should take as an model.
