Medium bodied, slightly malty, caramel flavors, metallic / dry finish. Not bad at all and quite an enjoyable beer. chicagodri (1041), Chicago, Illinois, USA

I had it right next to the Durham Hop Addict, and I think I liked the Hop Addict better. More malt flavor than hops, but it was well balanced. A little caramel and pine flavor though. philippem (53), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 17, 2009 Dark amber colour. Grapefruit aroma with slight herbal notes. Actual malt taste found in an APA while the hops wait patiently to make an impression. A pleasant liquid texture on the way down. Tthis is a really nice summer quaff. Subtle and nicely balanced, it doesn’t try to hit you over the head with a hop mallet. curly (580), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
