Aroma of nutty malt and caramel. Golden-amber honey color, fine foam head. Taste is overall sweet with some mineral elements. It has the nut and hard water character that is found in Samuel Smith products. A very sessionable not-quite pale ale.

Quite malty with a nutty caramel toffee like sweetness. Leads to a smooth but slightly watery finish. Not too hoppy.

Arome floral de houblon et de malt. Robe blonde dorée coiffé d’un col blanc qui se dissipe tranquillement. Goût de houblon de style anglais jumelé à une belle amertume. Pale Ale d’une efficacité exemplaire.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 bcBelgianbrew (55) - , British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 15, 2012
Aroma has an apple, hay, earthiness to it. Pours a solid amber with head fully diminishing. Mouth feel has a hint of creaminess through to finish. Carbo is medium to lively. Enjoyable in nice long pulls. Good flavour, nice on its own. As others mentioned, got better as it went along. From a 5 X 2 pack.

Not bad. Pours amber. Didn’t taste much hops in this but maybe it was because I drank it right after an imp stout. Seemed alright, but not really worth it unless it’s in Quebec and cheap. Bottle.

341ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a finger of white head that settles quicky leaving only a few spots of lace on the glass. Aroma is light malts, light fruits and light hops. Taste is light caramel malty sweetness with some hoppy bitterness. Light to medium body and decent carbonation. Average for this style of beer.
3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 VT (872) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 15, 2012
UPDATED: MAR 8, 2012 Re-rate. 341 ml bottle. Pours a dark golden blonde with an orange-amber tint. Yellowish-white head, leaves a beautiful lacing on the glass. Smells of corn, slightly floral. Tastes a bit of sweet corn, orange, subtle toffee. Nice, sharp herbal bitterness. Was disappointed last time I had it, maybe it was too warm. This one I’m having now is straight out of the fridge, and it tastes very good.
