I’ve had a lot of beers described as "Pale Ale", most were frighteningly bad. I almost didn’t buy this. but I trusted this brewery, and was well rewarded. Deep gold/coppery appearance. Full, fluffy white head. Fruity nose, nice hop bouquet. Begins with a fruity note, moves towards earthy malt, spicey and bitter hops blend beautifully throughout. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA

A good hit of earthiness in the nose, and nicely done eveerywhere else. I was too loaded in Toronto when I had this the first time! Original: 7/22/02: My notes only say ’Sweet - super fresh’ - uh oh. On tap at C’est What, Toronto. GiBrew (171), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 19, 2005 Pours orange/copper, slightly cloudy with a nice frothy head. Aroma is citrus fruits (Lemon and orange rind, a bit of grapefruit), mild yeast and malt. Flavours are very nice, citrus fruits, yeast and a bit of bitterness at first but a fairly heavy finish. Mouthfeel is quite creamy. Very refreshing pivnizub (5106), Bochum, Porúří, Germany

Superb stuff, joss ! RCL (1498), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA

Pours nicely, a good creamy off-white head with an attractive orange body. Maltier and less hoppy than I expected from the aroma. A very good beer. IrishBoy (2732), Bakersfield, California, USA

Nose of light floral hops, a light peach note, sweetness, and caramel. Clear copper with a medium oatmeal colored head. Flavor was lots of caramelly malt, light hop bitterness, and some fruitiness. Would make a good session beer.
